A cold rush of wind hit me across my face
Making my hair fly in response
My ears longed for a voice
That would tell me not to stay outside
In this harsh winter daze
From the place I now stand
The city appears as a dazzling collection of light
Each light a new story
So much unheard….
So much unknown….
I closed my eyes as the wind took up speed
Whispering your name to it
For somewhere sometime this wind touch you
Carrying with it a call, that a shout couldn’t do
Will you then rush back to me?
Someday you would understand
That sometimes it is not possible to move on
And I hope on that day
There is a hand holding your hand
That will not let you fall
Finally the moisture overflowed and spilled out
Both from my eyes and the sky
But your hand was the only hand that I ever held on
So who will hold my hand tonight?
To pull me out from my fall?
A sad smile lingered on my lips
As I took a step further
For I knew your hands were busy
Intertwined with some other
I know this fall will kill me
But at least for a moment I will fly
Like a bruise in the heart
Invisible to all
I want nobody to catch me
