"HOLY SHIT! My eyes, my eyes!" Lauren exclaimed, dramatically covering her eyes with both of her hands.Normani practically shoved Dinah off of her, and the two of them scrambled to cover themselves up.
"Damn, can't y'all knock or something?" Dinah asked, red with embarrassment.
Camila just stood there in awe, with her jaw dropped. It was an awful lot to take in. Camila knew that they were close, but.. This was a whole new level.
"Uh.. I don't know what to say, I-"
Dinah cut her off. "Look, I'm sorry we didn't tell you, but can you guys like turn around for a second so we can get dressed? Then, we can talk."
Lauren and Camila nodded, turning around immediately. Dinah and Normani rushed to put their clothing on, trying to recover from the embarrassment.
Camila turned to look at Lauren, who was just as surprised as she was. Both of their faces were bright red.
Lauren shook her head. "I mean.. Is it bad that I'm not surprised?"
"No," Normani said, cutting her off. "But what is bad is that you don't know how to fucking knock."
"Babe," Dinah interjected, receiving small gasps from both Lauren and Camila, "relax, it's okay. We should've been more careful, anyways."
Another awkward silence followed her statement, as both Lauren and Camila continued to twiddle their thumbs.
"Um.. You can turn around now."
Now that everyone was clothes and a lot less embarrassed, everyone sat on the couch together.
The silence continued.
".. Okay, so I guess I'll start," Dinah said, taking a deep breath. "Well.. Normani and I have been spending a lot more time together. Partially because of school, but partially because.. I don't know, something just clicked. Especially after everything that happened between the two of you, I realized that we both have a lot of things in common.."
"So," Normani continued, "after she totally caught me singing at my new job-"
"Wait, you got a new job?" Camila asked.
"Yeah, at the Stardust diner. Can you believe it?!" Dinah exclaimed, with the biggest smile on her face.
Lauren's jaw dropped. "Holy shit, you can dance and sing, too?! What the fuck, Normani? What else are you hiding from us?"
"You know, aside from you dating our best friend," Camila interrupted once more, rolling her eyes.
"Guys, can I please tell my side of the story?" Normani said, clearly irritated.
The girls hung their heads in shame, nodding slowly.
"Anyways, she came early to our lunch date, and completely caught me singing and doing my thing. After that, I don't know.. Everything just changed between us"
Dinah nodded in agreement. "I mean, I was always attracted to Mani, obviously.. But once I started hearing her sing.. I don't know, guys. She looked and sounded like an angel. From that point on, every single time that she walked into the room, or texted me.. I just got all of these crazy butterflies in my tummy."
