Chapter 12

Jades POV

I woke up to Kian laying next to me. I lightly kissed his cheek but he didnt wake up. I kissed his lips but no luck. Then I thought of something to wake him up. I got down to his ear and whispered "Claim me, Kian." Kian shot up out of bed. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. "That's not funny." He mumbled rubbing his eyes. I started to get out of bed when I felt a pain in my leg. I lifted up my pants to find a bite mark.

"Kian what's this?" I ask. "Its....umm....it's a bite mark." He said. "Who's bite mark?" I asked getting mad that he won't tell me. "It's Carsen's." As soon as it came out of his mouth my eyes went wide. "How could you let him do this!" I yelled. "I tried but there was nothing I could do he already bit you!" He yelled back. "How long do I have left until I shift?" I ask.

"Tomorrow night." Fuck. "There's one more thing." Kian said. "What is it?" I asked. "Since Carsen bit you, you'll have a connection to him." This can't be happening. "Kian you have to do something." I said. "There's nothing I can do besides kill Carsen and his pack."

"We have to kill him, I'll get on his good side then attack and help the pack into his pack house." I said. "It's worth a shot." We went downstairs to find Alpha Cody, Jared, Jc, and Connor all talking about the rogues.

"Morning."I said to all of them. "Good morning." They all said in unison. I went to go make breakfast while Kian joined in on the conversation.

I set the table and prepared the food. We all sat down and dug in. I ate 3 pancakes,8 sausages, eggs, and 4 pieces of toast. After we all ate Kian and I went to his house to talk to Kelli and Harry. As soon as we walked in I wish we didnt because we walked in on them having sex.

--Kelli's POV--

Jade and Kian just walked in on me and Harry having sex. I took the blanket and covered my body. While Harry grabbed his shorts. "Would you knock!" Harry yelled. "It's my house to you know." Kian said. He did have a point.

"Maybe you should do your 'business' in your room." Jade said making quotation marks with her fingers. Smart ass. They went upstairs and left Harry and I alone. "That was awkward." I said. Harry chuckled and handed me my clothes. I got dressed and went to make breakfast.

I cooked pancakes for Harry and I. After we were done we decided to go shopping. As soon as we got into Walmart some girl ran toward Harry. She embraced him in a hug. I'm not gonna lie I was jealous. "It's been so long." The blonde girl said. "Yeah to long, oh Kelli this is my cousin Ashley." He said. I shook her hand and said my 'hello'. Her and Harry were going on and on about there childhood.

After they were done we continued our shopping. We were going down the movie isle when Harry put his arm around my waist and pulled me to him. "Harry what's wrong?" I ask. He didnt answer he kept his eyes locked on Carsen. Damn, does this guy ever stop.

--Carsens POV--

My pack and I have been watching my new beta and her family. Kelli and Harry were going shopping so I followed them. Since Kian is keeping a close eye on Jade I can't get to close.

I was in the movie isle in Walmart when Harry saw me. I smirked when I saw him pull Kelli closer to him. He knows what's gonna go down. I walked up to him when he whispered something in Kelli's ear. She nodded and left. "Oh what, she can't stay." I said with a smirk on my face. "What the fuck do you want!" Harry growled. "What? Why do you think I want something from you?" He stepped closer so he was in my face.

"If you come near Jade, Kelli, Kian, or anybody else in my pack I won't hesitate to rip your head off, you got it." He said. "Oh yes, master." I bowed down and he walked away. This is gonna be fun.

--Jades POV--

Kian has been telling me about my first shift and how my senses will become stronger when I'm a werewolf. I'm really nervous, I never wanted to become a werewolf. Now I will be one forever unless there is a cure and I'm supposed to stay away from silver. Shocker. I'm shifting in 6 hours.

I packed some clothes and hopped in the shower. Kian has been with the pack almost all day. He finally came back 30 minutes before my shift. "It's about time I haven't seen you all day." I walk over to him and kiss him on the cheek. "I know I'm just worried and had to confirm some stuff. Are you ready for this?" I love when he is worried about me. I nod and we head for the forest.

We walked at least a mile in the woods. He told me to go behind a tree while he went behind one near me. I stripped off and waited. After about 5 minutes of sitting there nude I felt a pain in my stomach. I screamed l, it hurt so bad. I knew this wasn't easy for Kian. I felt my feet and hands breaking as they transformed into gigantic paws. I screamed out in pain. My legs and arms came right after. My bare skin was now covered with fur. My teeth turned into canines and my eyes turned into a pair of glowing golden ones.

I came from behind the tree and saw Kians wolf. I walked over to his wolf and brushed up against his. 'Let's go for a run' He mind linked me. I nodded and we made a break for it going deeper into the forest.
