Chapter 17

Jades POV

It's Friday and Darcy's party is in an hour. I haven't found anything about Tate yet. I never caught his scent or any signs of him. Nobody knows that Tate is back. I've managed to keep it a secret but I don't know how long I can do that. Kian is getting on my case.

I've been trying to keep my distance from Kian. I don't know why but now every time I'm near him I just want to jump on him and rip his clothes off. My wolf is getting very perverted and don't get me started on her hormones.

"Are you ready?" Kian asked snapping me out of my thoughts. He is wearing a blue hollister shirt with dark blue jeans and vans. I'm wearing my blue and pink plaid shirt with my dark blue short shorts and my vans. "Ya." I said with a smile.

I don't know what is going to happen tonight. My wolf won't be able to control herself with how hot Kian looks. We got in my Honda and drove to Darcy's.

When we arrived everybody was there. Sam, Darcy, Connor, Jc, and Cody. Sam and Darcy were busy dancing so I pulled Kian to the dance floor which is actually just the living room. "I don't dance." Kian said standing like a dumby on the middle of the dance floor. "Everybody dances." I said moving his arms. When our arms touched I got a jolt of electricity go through my body.

He intertwined our fingers and leaded me to the kitchen. There was on one in the kitchen they were all dancing. Kian backed me up against the counter. "Why have you been trying to keep your distance?" Kian asked putting his head in my neck. "I haven't." I lied. He pulled his head away from my neck to face me. Our lips inches apart. "Yes you have but you won't be keeping your distance much longer." He said then crashed his lips on mine. I kissed back, our lips moving in sync.

He lifted me on top of the counter. This was getting out of control and I know we had to stop. I pulled away catching my breath. I put my forehead against Kians. "I can't control my wolf much longer." He said trying to catch his breath. "You won't have to but I want to wait until everything is over. The fight and my broth-." I stopped myself remembering I can't tell anyone.

"Your what?" He ask looking into my eyes. Shit I did it now. "Nothing." He looked closer into my eyes. "Your lying. What is it.? He asked. "It's its ummm.......my brother Tate. He's back but I don't know why." Kian had a blank look on his face. "You have a brother?"

"Ya but he left three years ago and nobody has heard from him and nobody likes to talk about him. Don't tell Kelli she doesn't know and I don't want her to. He's a..a...a werewolf." I said looking away.

Kians POV

Jade told me all about her brother. She asked me to help her find him. We will start looking after the fight tomorrow. She has to meet Carsen in the clearing at dawn. She has been training and she is really good but Carsen has Alpha strength. I hope she concentrates on his moves and his weak spot.

"Are you ready for tonight?" I ask Jade standing in her door way. She is putting on make up and brushing her hair. "As ready as ill ever be." She said sarcastically. I walk over to her and put my head on her shoulder. "You'll do fine I know it. You are stronger than you think." I said kissing her neck. "If I win then I'm Alpha. What am I going to do as Alpha. I'll be busy and I don't know if I'll ever have time for you." She said.

"We will figure everything out don't worry." I wasn't sure what we were gonna do. What if she doesn't have time for me? What if she breaks the mating bond? So many thought went through my head.

Jades POV

Kian, Sam, Cody, and I are on our way to the clearing. I got a ton of butterflies in my stomach. I've been training for a week and I'm good but I don't know if I can beat an Alpha.

When we got to the clearing Carsen, Ricky, and Ricardo were in the clearing. "Your late." Carsen says with a smirk. "Let's just get this over with." I said getting annoyed by him already. "As you wish." He shifted into his big black Alpha wolf. I wonder if ill turn into a black wolf when I become Alpha, if I become Alpha. I let go of Kians hand and walked forward about five feet until I shifted.

Carsen made the first move. He lunged forward going for my neck but I dodged in and bit into his back. He tried to wiggle me off but I wouldn't budge. He finally slammed me into a tree and I let him go. He lunged forward going for my paws. I almost dodged it but wasn't fast enough. He got hold of my left paw and bit into it. I howled out in pain. I could tell Kian felt the pain to. 'Focus Jade find his weak spot' Kian mind linked me.

I shoved Carsen off me. I quacked him in the snout with my right paw. I left four big scratch marks on his snout. I lunged forward going for his neck but he dodged it. He but into my shoulder. He wiggled me back and forth, his teeth going deeper into flesh. He threw me and I connected with another tree. I tried to get up but I couldn't find the strength. Carsen shifted half way and started walking to me.

'He is shifted half way now the chance Jade. That's his weak spot' Kian mind linked me. Carsen stopped right in from of me. He crouched down and I noticed his eyes were red when he shifted half way. "You didn't really think you could beat me could you." He said raising his hand with his claws out. He was about to go for my throat when I lunged forward, pinning him to the ground. I growled and went for his neck. I bit down deep into his neck. He screamed out in pain. He started to claw at my face but that just made my canines go deeper into his flesh. As soon as her stopped fighting back I knew he was almost dead.

I shifted half way and towered over is body. His breaths were very slow. "You didn't think you could beat me did you." I said with a smirk. I raised my hand with my claws out and cut out his throat. As soon as he stopped breathing I could feel a whole lot of power overwhelm my body. I looked at Ricky and Ricardo. They were bowing their heads.

I looked back to Kian. "Jade your eyes they're red. You did it, your Alpha."
