Chapter 29

--Ethan's POV--

I started heading home when I caught an overwhelming scent. I couldn't resist and followed it. It lead to a girl. A girl with long blonde hair hanging just below her shoulders with blue sparkling eyes. I walk up to her just as she got in her car. She rolls down her window and says "Can I help you with something because bitch your fogging up my window."

"A...ya. What's your name?" I asked. "I'm Mandy. I'm in your PE class." I nodded my head. "Right well that's all so ill see ya later." Nice Ethan play it cool. I started heading for the woods when I stopped myself. I turn around and look at where Mandy was standing. I don't know why but I couldn't take my eyes off of the spot. She was so beautiful and amazing. After about half an hour I got snapped out of my thought by Tate.

"Well, well, well looks like Ethan found his mate." He said walking out of the dark shadows of the woods.

"What? No." I said getting confused.

"Ya. You have just found your other half. So go. Go be with her."

"I don't know where she lives."

"Use your senses. Go to her Ethan." He said then disappeared back into the darkness of the woods.

--Jades POV--

I watched as Ethan approached Mandy. He seemed happy to be around her and shy. One thing popped into head and that's when I knew I found Ethan's weakness.

I walked through the woods to the pack house. I was halfway there when I caught Tate's scent.

"Don't you have somewhere to be?" I asked turning around to face my brother. He stood there with his hands shoved in his pockets.

"Ya but I needed to tell you that, you need to stay away from Ethan."

"You don't need to worry. I don't need Ethan, I can just use his mate." I smirked. Tate's eyes went wide. "Oh you didn't know. Ya Ethan found his mate after school, better go get him before he does something stupid." He turned around and started running toward the school.

I walked in the pack house and went straight to my office. I set my backpack down on the side of desk and continued the paperwork from last night. I didn't get it done because Kian came over and well distracted me.

After I finished my paperwork and homework I decided to go visit the fam. I headed out of the pack house and toward home.

When I walked in Kelli and Harry were crying. "What's wrong?" I asked running to my sisters side. "I...i....I lost...the....baby." She said between sobs. I stood up and took a few steps back. I couldn't speak. I was in complete shock. I had no feeling. I ran outside the house and to the back. I ran into the woods and just kept running and running.

I couldn't think. I didn't want to talk to anyone so I put up my mind barriers so no one can contact me.

I ran for at least an hour until I came across a town. I found a cafe and went inside for something to settle my stomach. After I was done eating it was pretty late so I checked into a hotel. Before I went to bed I decided to contact Kian so he knows that I'm fine. I put down my mind barrier and right away Kian mind linked me.

'Jade. Jade are you ok? Where are you? Why did you put up your barriers?'

'Calm down Kian, I'm fine, I checked into a hotel in some town I don't know the name of it. It's an hour away. I'm going to bed but I decided to let you know I'm ok. How are Kelli and Harry?'

'Not good. They haven't stopped crying. When are you coming back?'

'Sometime tomorrow but until then I don't want to talk to anyone so goodnight Kian I love you.'
