Chapter 19

Jades POV

"I better go, the funeral is in half and hour and the Alpha has to be there." I said giving Kian a peck on the lips. "What are you doing later on?" He asked with a smirk forming on his lips.

"I've still got some papers I need to get done." I said wrapping my arms around his waist and resting my chin on his chest. "Well I plan on coming over so crack a window." He said with a wink.

I slapped his bicep. "Your such a pain." I said with a chuckle. "Well I got to go but I will see you later tonight." I said giving him one last peck then walking back toward the pack house.

"We are all gathered here today to honor Ricardo Ordieres. He was a beloved friend, son, and pack mate. We will never forget Ricardo. He will be in our hearts forever." I said finishing the ceremony.

I stepped down from the platform in the back of the pack house. We use the platform for meetings, funerals, and weddings. "Alpha we need to find out who did this. They need to pay." Ricky says walking up to me.

"No I will deal with it and if you do come across a rogue don't do anything just corner them and call me. Don't harm them." I said walking away. I don't need my brother dead when I just got him back into my life.

I walked through the crowd of pack members. When I reached my office I slammed the door and punched the wall. Making a hole through the wall. Damn it. "What got into your panties?"

I whipped my head around to see Tate sitting in my office chair. "What are you doing here and why did you kill one of my pack members?" I asked walking over to him and lifting him off the chair.

"Whoa, whoa, calm down. He attacked me so I fought back." I let go of his shirt and took deep breaths. I waited until my anger started to fade.

"If somebody from the pack saw you in here they will kill you. You can't go around killing anybody you want. This wouldn't of happened if you would have joined my pack."I said sitting in my chair.

"I'm not staying here. I'm going to kill the rogues that killed my mate then I'm gone and I won't come back. So don't get used to me being here cause it won't last much longer." He said with his eyes glowing.

"I told you that we would handle it. I just got you back into my life and now you think you can just disappear again. That's not going to happen and if you still plan on leaving well then you'll leave me no choice but to tell Kelli your back."

"Jade you wouldn't." He said getting angry. "Ya well try me!" I yelled. The door to my office then busted open and there stood Kian. "What's going on?" He asked stepping inside.

"Nothing, what are you doing here?" I asked. "I told you to crack a window." He said with a smirk. Cheeky bastard.

I look back at Tate who is trying to calm his wolf. "Well it was fun talking with you Jade and I can't wait for the next one but I need to go." He said sarcastically.

Tate walked over to the window and jumped out. I went to the window and saw Tate shift into his wolf and run into the shadows of the forest. 'There is a wolf on the territory but leave him be. No one is to harm him.' I mind linked my pack.

I look back at a smiling Kian. "What are you so happy about?" I ask walking over to him and putting my hands around his neck. "I'm always happy to see you." He leaned down and pressed his lips on mine.

I kissed back while our lips moved in sync. I deepened the kiss and Kian let out a low moan. I smiled against his lips. He licked my bottom lip asking for entrance. I granted and his tongue moved with mine.

I decided to tease him so I started running my hands through his hair and started to tug. He let out a groan and sat down on the office chair. He pulled me on top of him so I was straddling him.

I put on hands on his chest. I ran my hands down his body and started undoing his belt. He let out a groan and I smiled against his lips. "You think I'd be so easy, did you." I laughed and got off him.

"Ugh your such a tease." He groaned and got up. "Am not I don't want the mating bond to happen on my office chair." I giggled. "Then lets go upstairs and start where we left off." Kian said pulling me into him.

"Oh sorry cant, I have to do paperwork remember." I smiled and pulled away from him. I sat down on the office chair. "Can't you do it later." He said giving me the puppy eyes. "No trust me I want to but I have stuff I need to get sorted out."

"Ok but remember we have reservations tomorrow night." He said giving me a quick peck and left. Oh I have a feeling Kian is gonna have some fun these upcoming days.

I woke up with the sun lighting up my room. I looked over toward the window and saw I didn't close it last night from Kian. A smile appeared on my lips from remembering when he told me to crack a window.

I got up took a shower, brushed my teeth, and put on some make up. I went downstairs and headed straight for my office. I was going through paperwork when Ricky walked in.

"Alpha we found a rogue wondering in the woods. He crossed the Red Dawn Packs territory and now they have crossed into ours. Cody and Connor are here to discuss about the rogue."

"Ya alright send them in." He nodded his head and a minute later Cody and Connor were in my office. "Hello Cody and Connor. What about this rogue problem?"

"A rogue has been going in and out of our territory. He almost killed Jc and he has killed a human." That can't be Tate we would never.

"We know Kian knows something so I came to you to talk about it. Kian is your mate and I know he told you something." Omg it has to be Tate if Kian is hiding something.

"Ya I know who it is. It's.....it's my brother."
