Chapter 10

--Kelli's POV--

"What do you mean Jades gone!" "Where is she? You have to find her!" I yelled. "Don't worry we picked up her scent an-" he said but I cut him off. "You caught her scent?" I asked curiously. "Yeah, I need to tell you something." Harry said. "Wh-what is it?" I ask. "I'm a werewolf." Harry said while looking into my eyes. "What?" I laugh. This has to be a joke, werewolves aren't real.

"Come on and i'll show you." He said and walked out of the house. I followed until he went behind a tree. He came back but not as a human. He came out as a big silver wolf. I stood still while he walked closer to me. As soon as he was inches away, he licked my face. He walked back behind the tree and came back in only shorts.

"So, you are a werewolf." I am still in shock. "Yeah and there's something you should know about werewolves. They have mates." He said. I raise my eyebrows at him. "A mate is a wolves soulmate, you know the kind they can't live without." He said. Harry and I can't be together, he has someone waiting for him. "Oh and there is one more thing." He said getting closer to me. "What is it?" I ask. He crashed his lips on mine then pulled back. "You're mine."

--Kians POV--

We spent hours tracking Jade. Her scent kept going out of our territory. So Harry, Cody, and I mind linked Christian, the beta, and Connor, Alpha Cody's brother. We all followed the scent until we came across a house. A pack house. The place reeked of dogs.

We heard screaming in the house and it was a guys but then I heard a girl scream. I ran for the house but Cody jumped to stop me. "No Kian! That's what they want." He said though mind link. "Well then they'll get it" I said. I ran past Cody and slammed open the door. There were two wolves in the living room I took one out but the other got on top of me. Harry came and knocked him off. "Go find Jade, we got it here." I ran through the house but couldn't find her until I came to a basement door.

I went down there and found Carsen beating Jade, I ran toward him and threw him across the room. He hit the wall and fell to the floor. "Jade, Jade wake up." I said shaking her.

--Jades POV--

Carsen kept asking me what I was doing and every time I said 'nothing' he kept hitting me. I heard something upstairs crash against the floor. I heard more running upstairs until the basement door flew open and Kian came down. He ripped Carsen off of me and that's when I blacked out.

I woke up in my bedroom. I look around, remembering everything that happened earlier. Carsen, the basement, the beating, and Kian coming to my rescue. I went to take a shower and put on some clothes. I didn't bother with make up. I went downstairs to Kelli and Harry on the couch. I didn't see Kian, he must be at home. "Hey." I said and Kelli jumped up off the couch and ran to give me a bear hug. "You're up." She said. "Yeah, where's Kian?" I ask. "He's at home, he wanted to give you some time when you wake up and he thought he would make things worse." Harry said. "Oh ok, I'm gonna go see him but I'll be back." I said and walked out of the house.

I rang the doorbell and Kian opened the door, pulling me in for a hug. "You're awake, how do you feel?" He asked. He looked me in the eyes, I could tell he hasn't slept and has been crying. "I'm fine." I said with a smile. "I was so worried." He said. "I bet." I kissed him.

We sat down and talked for awhile, I decided to sleepover. We went to Kians bed and laid down facing each other. "Kian, thank you for saving me." I said. "I would do it again for you." He said as he leaned in and pressed his lips to mine. Kian got on top and took his shirt off. He kissed down my neck and stopped at the spot where my neck connects with my shoulder.

"Jade, are you ready?" He asked. I nodded and I felt his canines go into my skin. It hurt but it was turned into pleasure. He licks the spot where he marked me. He pressed his lips to mine. Part one of the 'claiming' process done. "I love you, Jade." he said against my lips. I pulled back and looked into his eyes. "I love you too." I said while kissing him again. After that I drifted into a deep sleep against Kians chest.
