Kitty's POV

It hurt to open my eyes. When I managed to open them, my first question was, "Where am I?" I sat up thinking, I must have blacked out. But where was I? I seemed to be in a classroom. But it was a dilapidated one. The desks where overturned, and the old floor had large dangerous holes. I also saw a black mass on the other side of the room. "Lizzie!" I whispered urgently across the room. She stirred an sat up too, straightening her gold crown on her bun. "Quite a fall huh?" She said, giggling slightly. "But where are we?" I said, my tone sounding almost scared. "Beats me." She said in the same tone as before. I looked away from her to my student ID card that lay in front of me. The scrap of paper from the Sachiko Ever After charm lay next to my card. I gasped quietly, thinking of what just happened. Lizzie looked over, "Hey, are you ok?" There was a pause as I continued to stare at the scrap of paper. I blinked and looked away. "First things first." I said in a more serious tone. "Let's try to find the others and find out where we are." She nodded in agreement and we both stood up. We both walked to the door at the end of the classroom, and pushed it open. I opened with a loud creak into a more dilapidated hallway. I rushed to the window and looked out. It was raining out. But all I could see were woods. "We must be in some kind of school," I said looking to see where Lizzie was. She stuck her head out of the door she was looking in and said, "Yeah, that's the girls bathroom. And judging by the size of the chairs in the classroom we were in, it must be an elementary school." I looked at her feet. There was a plaque that had obviously fallen down long ago. I picked it up and read it. It said, Class 1-A of Heavenly Host Elementary School. I gasped and dropped the plaque. No. No. This couldn't be THAT school. That school was torn down years ago. Lizzie hadn't noticed my reaction to this news. "Hey Kitty, do you have any of that butt cream on you?" She asked. "What?" I said. "You know the smeary stuff. Cause," she chuckled. "My butts been drier than a desert since we got here." I just sort of stared at her. "Oh ok." I said pulling out some. "I don't have it with me, just some antibacterial stuff." I handed it to Lizzie, still puzzled with her sudden urge for the cream. "Yay! Thanks Kitty!" She said. "You can look around some more, but we'll meet by the infirmary next to the bathroom. K?" She added. "Ok." I said in reply and she giggled and walked into the bathroom. I then walked to the end of the hallway, past the infirmary Lizzie indicated. There was a clock on the wall at the end of the hall. Unsurprisingly, it was not working. I shrugged and went into the infirmary. I laid on one of the two beds and looked up at the paper scrap I had. I looked at it, contemplating how we could have gotten to here. Then it happened. I heard a scribbling noise next to me. I looked over. On the desk, there was an open notebook. And a pen. And the pen was writing by itself. My heart stopped. Then I heard a dribbling sound on my other side. I looked over. There were deep cracks in the wall, and blood was oozing out. I tried to move, but I was paralyzed with fear. Then I felt a presence over me. I looked up. There was a black misty shadow with two bloodshot eyes staring at me. "Bunny." It said, slowly moving closer to my face. I screamed and scrambled off the bed. It caught my leg and I fell onto the floor, petrified. I got to my feet as soon as I could and rushed to the door. "No way." I shouted, struggling at the door. Because covering the door was, "Hair!" I screeched, ripping off handfuls of hair as the black shadow moved closer. "Come on!" I screamed, tears leaking through my eyes. At last the door was free. I pushed it open and flung myself out. I hit the ground and spun around, staring with fear. The black shadow had stopped at the threshold and then suddenly disappeared. I let out a sob. Then they were uncontrollable. I had almost just died just now. "Kitty!" I heard Lizzie yell. I was still sobbing. "What happened?!" Her face was white as a sheet. "WHAT HAPPENED?!" I screamed at her. "I ALMOST DIED JUST NOW. WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE COME SOONER, YOU USELESS!" Lizzie's eyes filled with tears. "I'm sorry Kitty." She said sheepishly. Then I heard her run down the hall, sobbing. I just sat on the floor, shaking and crying. When I finally had the strength I got up. Lizzie. Where did she go? My heart sank. I said some really awful things to her. I need to apologize. She had run towards the bathroom. I walked over and went in. "Lizzie?" I said. My voice echoing off the walls. "Lizzie?" I said again. "I'm really sorry I said thos-" I stopped as I reached the third stall. Lizzie was hanging by a noose, gasping for air. "LIZZIE!" I shrieked. I ran to her, and attempted to untie the noose, tears streaming down my cheeks. It was just tightening around her neck even more. I needed to find something for her to support her feet. I frantically looked around the bathroom, finding a bucket that contained blood and several maggots. I screamed and dumped out the contents on the floor. I ran back to Lizzie. But then I stopped. Her hands were limp at her sides, her eyes empty. Lizzie was dead. "N-no." I cried. "NO!" I dropped the bucket and crumpled to the floor. "Lizzie!" I cried. "NO! LIZZIE!" But no matter how you put it, there was one undeniable fact. My friend. Lizzie. Was dead.
