Dexter's POVRaven stopped up ahead, staring at the unmoving clock at the end at the end of the hall. She had frozen, eyes wider than dinner plates. She suddenly crumpled to her knees, clapped her hands to her ears, and began to scream. I ran over to her, shouting wildly, "Raven! Raven! What's wrong?! Can you hear me?!" I then felt a sudden cold presence behind me. I slowly pivoted around. Behind me stood the ghost of a young boy, and he held a knife in his glowing hands. A cold sweat started to bead on me as a chill ran up my spine. "Dexter! Don't look into his eyes! Don't make eye contact!" Raven yelled, still staring at the clock. The boy giggled and said in a playful tone, "Now, which one of you would like to be killed first?" He held up the knife. I backed away from the boy, shielding Raven and my eyes. "Ok, I guess the boy first." He started to advance towards me, gripping the knife in his small hand. He started to giggle as I pushed Raven out of the way. "No! Dexter!" Raven choked out. The boy turned towards her now. "Ladies first then." He said, giggled his horrible giggle and ran to Raven, knife pointed outward. Raven shrieked and jumped out of the way. He said, "Why are you running away?" Raven screamed, and the boy disappeared into purple mist. Raven then collapsed onto the floor, and started to sob into my jacket hysterically. All of a sudden, the ghost of a high school girl appeared. I heard Raven speak behind me in a shaky voice, "I-I know you. You're Ginger Breadhouse!" "Correct." The girl said. "But I'm the ghost of Ginger." Raven gasped. Ginger was the daughter of the candy witch, a baker, and a medium, who owned a blog of all her experiences, and was Raven's idol. "So, you died here?" Raven asked. "Yes." She replied, straightening her circular, pink glasses up on her nose. She had amberish eyes, cinnamon skin, and hot pink hair pulled into two, long pigtails. A chill went down my spine. So we weren't the only people ever transported here. "Have you seen any of our friends?" I asked her. She shook her head. "I'm sorry, but this school has several closed spaces all your friends could be scattered across. The only way to be with them would be if you or them, were dead." Raven looked scared, and I saw tears start to cloud her eyes. "We should keep moving if we want to get out of here." I said hurriedly. Raven bowed her head and started to follow me as we walked away from Ginger. But then Ginger spoke, "There is no way to leave here." I froze. But before I could say a word, she was gone and in her place, was a old doll. I leaned over and picked up the doll. I wanted to say something encouraging to Raven, but it was inevitable that we will be stuck here forever.
