Chapter 20: Ginger's not so sweet

Raven's POV

"So you purposely put the wrong instructions for the charm on your blog?" I said to Ginger, my fists clenched at my sides. "And you did it because you lost Alistair. Your beloved Alistair." She looked as calm as ever. Then her sweet face twisted into an evil smile, and she began to laugh. It was a sick sugary laugh that made me angrier. "What's so funny?!" I shouted at her. "Hell if I know!" She said in between a laugh. "Go fish go fish! People who listen to stuff on the internet are idiots!" I gasped. "Do you realize how many people you killed by your ignorant decision?!" I retorted. "You're the one who spread Bunny's curse! It's you!" "You think I don't know that!" She yelled in a furious tone. "Oh Alistair would be so proud of me!" She said in a boasting manner. "I loooove the rewards he gives me." Her tone changed to almost longing and she was blushing furiously. "I'd do ANYTHING for him!" She began her laugh again. "You're insane." I whispered angrily to her. "Huh?" She stopped, "You occulted freaks can rot in here for all I care! I will protect Alistair's work! I won't forgive anyone who gets in my way!" She laughed once more. "Ginger, you died here." I said. "What about it?" She snapped. "Do you honestly not remember anything? I will make you remember. Don't you remember that moment of despair you fell into? Of what you did to your beloved Alistair!" I showed her my phone. Her eyes grew wide and fearful. On it was the picture of their dead bodies that we had found in the custodian's closet. "Your beloved Alistair! You killed him Ginger! You killed him with your own hands! Your selfish actions did not bring Alistair happiness!" She gasped and started to make choking noises in shock. Then her figure changed. She was enveloped in a purple and black aura. She reached out a blackened hand towards me. And in the blink of an eye she disintegrated into dust. But where she once stood, there was a bloodstained book. And then I realized I had found the answers I needed, and I hoped to find Daring and Kitty once more.
