Darling's POV

I woke up, and immediately screamed when I saw where I was. All my limbs were chained to a table, and Alistair stood next to me, smiling maliciously, holding a knife. He laughed when he heard me scream for my brother, for anyone. "I wonder what kind of screams you will make Darling." He said, continuing to laugh. He raised the knife above me. And plunged it down, right into my right eye. The pain was so severe, I was screaming as much as I could scream. He took out the knife, and I started to make little choking sounds as I laid there, helpless. "What's this?" He asked, "Already finished? I was just getting started!" He said with a laugh. With my left eye, I saw him raise the now bloody knife again. This time, having it hover over the center of my chest, then, he slowly pierced my skin, going deeper with the knife, very slowly. I screamed and screamed and screamed. The pain was so much. Just then, Alistair's head came off. "Darling!" Dexter screamed. "I'm going to save you!" My vision was tinged red. I could feel myself fading in and out of consciousness. This was the end. And this time, I was not afraid.

Raven's POV

I didn't take me long before I found the source of the screaming. On the way there I was met with a horrific sight. I had found Sparrow. But he had no pulse, and was lying in a pool of cold blood. I ran into the room, looking to help whichever poor soul the screams had come from. I was met with another unpleasant scene. "Darling! Dexter! How did y-" I started. "I couldn't just leave you here alone!" Dexter said shakily, undoing the ropes that tied an unconscious Darling to the table where she was obviously almost been killed. Just then, a bloody eyed man, the dead headmaster; walked out do the shadows, gripping a pair of scissors. He advanced on Dexter as he turned. Dexter deflected the first strike, but still got pinned against the wall, the scissors mere inches from his face. "Hurry! Raven! Take Darling and run!" He said while trying to pull off the headmaster's hands. "RUN RAVEN!" He yelled. Tears filled my eyes, but I ran. I had Darling's limp body slung over my back, like I was giving her a piggy back ride. She had evidently lost a lot of blood, and she was making choking noises. I saw the door where I had come from slide open. Then Dexter emerged. "Raven! Run!" Then right before my eyes, a sharp object pierced outward from his abdomen, and his blood and intestines spilled out onto the floor. I was so scared I couldn't even scream. He held his gash and choked, "Just hurry up and run Raven!" And then a metal pipe bashed his head open. I shrieked and would have sunk to my knees, if it wasn't for the thought that I have to save Darling. I turned away and ran. Sobbing and dry heaving all the way. It couldn't be true. Dexter wasn't dead. But the images burned into my eyes and mind. I wished it was me instead of him. Anything. I didn't want the destiny I had. He had everything in his destiny. And in the blink of the eye, it all disintegrated.

Daring's POV

"Big brother?" Darling choked, opening her remaining eye. The crystal blue eye that flooded with tears. She couldn't be dying. She just couldn't. I wouldn't allow it. I just hugged her. Holding my sister close was all that mattered. After Raven carried her here, she explained that Alistair and Dexter were both dead. Now I had lost my brother, and I wasn't going to let death take my sister. She looked up at me, her platinum blonde hair and silver tiara caked with blood. She sniffled weakly. "Big brother..." She sighed. Then I no longer felt her breathing. I bit my bottom lip as hot tears stinged my eyes. "DARLING!" I screamed but I knew that it would not help to end this nightmare.
