Killian's POV
It had been a few hours since the incident and everyone had left the castle. It was just me, Emma and the maids and butlers in the castle now. Emma hadn't woken up yet and her head was quite swollen. I kept the damp towel on her head to slow down the swelling and because her temperature was rising too. "Oh Emma. We can never have a normal ball in this family." I say into her ear. I grab her hand and squeeze it tightly and lie beside her.
"I know, seems like bad luck.." I hear Emma groan. "Emma!" I say smiling. She slowly tries to open her eyes and clutches her head in agony. "What happened?" She said looking at me. "Freya's powers. She uncovered them. Im just so happy your okay." I say before kissing her. "Were's Freya? I need to see her." Emma says trying to sit up. "Woah, Woah slow down. You've hit your head badly Emma! You need rest. The twins are staying at your parents until the morning." I say helping her lie back down. "I can't just lie in bed all day! I have royal duties and other things to do!" Emma says trying to make excuses. "Emma... you can't lie to me remember. If you get back up and do things to quickly you will pass out again. Just rest until tomorrow and we will we how you feel then." I said. "Fine, but can you at least send a letter to Henry? I want to see how his voyage is going." She tells me. Henry was off with the navy for a month sailing around the realm discovering things. "Of course, now please sleep. You will need it love." I said kissing her forehead. I walked out if the from and down to the small office we had near the lounge.
I began writing the letter to Henry and finished it a few minutes later. I sent it away with a dove to get it to him. When I had walked back upstairs Emma was asleep. I got into bed next to her and fell asleep too shortly after.
Emma's POV
I woke up and my head was pounding. Not as bad as it was yesterday though. Killian wasn't beside me so I slowly got out of bed and walked into the bathroom. I looked into the mirror and saw the gash I had on my head. I didn't realize how hard I hit it. Poor Freya she must be traumatized. I couldn't wait for them to come home so I could talk to Freya to calm her nerves down a little. I began to think about what on earth I should tell her. It's not everyday you tell your daughter they have magic and that they are going to cast a dark curse that will wipe their families and loved ones memories away until a saviour breaks the curse..... I'd never thought about who the saviour was before. I didn't matter because I'm prepared to do anything to stop her from turning dark. But not like anything my parents did to me.
"Emma.... Are you alright love?" I look up into the mirror and Killian is standing behind me. "Yeah, my head still hurts a little though." I replied. I hug him and he kisses my cheek. "Freya and Liam are downstairs. If you want I'll send them up?" Killian tells me. "Send Freya up please. I want to tell her. But not about the curse or anything. Just her magic." I explain to him. "Okay, I'll send her up now." Killian smiles. I sat on our bed and waited patiently.
The door knocked and in walked Freya slowly. "Hey mommy. How are you feeling?" Freya says walking towards me. "I'm fine. Come here." I say stretching my arms out to hug her. She runs into my arms and begins to cry. "I'm so sorry mommy. I didn't mean to. I don't even know what I did!" She cries heavily. "Freya, its okay its not your fault." I say beginning to cry too. "Freya.. I need to tell you something sweetie." I say wiping her tears away. "What is it mommy?..." Freya asks.
Authors note: Cliffhanger muhahaha. Ive still been feeling I'll since Sunday and idk what's wrong with me ugh. In another few chapters I'm doing another time jump! I'll make it clear when I am though!
