Emma's POV

"The question is, can you tell me anything?" Freya said slowly. She opens the latch on the box and opens the lid. "What?..." I gasped. Its not possible. 'The dagger?" Killian asks. "Yes, but it has mothers name on it." Freya snaps. "Freya, I've never seen this before." I lied to her. But she could tell. "Stop lying!! I know that you have been lying to be about stuff. And I demand to know now or..." Freya begins. "Okay!! Okay... Freya I'm sorry." I say with tears in my eyes.

Freya stood up and leaned against the wall with the dagger in her hand. "So are you going to tell me what this is all about?" She begins. "Freya...." Killian begins. "No... Killian I can do this." I say still sitting.

"The storybook me and your father read you and Liam growing up. Nothing from it is really true. There's another storybook which I hid from you and Liam with our true stories in it. Something's happened in it and we didn't want to set you a bad example." I began. "That's a lie. Something else must have been in it that you were trying to hide from me." Freya explains. "Your right. Look, when we went to get that prophecy of your magic from Merlin many years ago. Her told us that yes you possessed magic. But only you could've decided if you wanted it to be light magic or dark magic. I knew I could help you control it and you would posses light magic." I continued. "There's something else. Your holding it back." Freya replied. "When we were about to leave. Merlin said another part of the prophecy came through. He said that at a certain age you would cast a curse and it would bring everyone to a horrific place." I said as tears streamed down my face.

"So, you kept all of this from me. And what did you expect me to forgive you after?!" Freya shouts. "Freya please.." I say going to grab her hand. "Don't touch me!" Freya screams. "Bring me to this storybook you speak of." She asks. "I'll arrange a carriage." Killian says. "Make it two. Don't think I'm forgiving you that quickly." Freya said crossing her arms still holding the dagger. Killian left the room and Freya looks at me.

"And this? Why has it got your name on it?!" She asks again. "Freya..." I sighed. "No! I want the truth." She demanded. I realized she still had the dagger in her hand so she technically just commanded me to do it. "Its not ment to anymore. Rumple was the dark one but he got the darkness taken out of him. An apprentice consumed it in a hat but it escaped and it was going to snuff out the light of all the people in the town. So I tethered it to myself." I started to explain. "What town?" Freya asks. "It will make more sense when we get the book." I stated. "When I tethered it to myself everyone tried everything they could for me to control it. But being the dark one isn't easy. I brought everyone back to the enchanted forest and we all set off to find Merlin. He said he snuffed the darkness out of me but clearly he didn't do much." I continued. "Clearly. As I'm holding this dagger that I was told didn't no longer exist." Freya snapped.

"How long have you known?! About this prophecy?" Freya asked annoyed. "Since you were a month old or so. Not really something I could've told you at that age." I said softly. "Maybe at that age. But you never told me any of this and do you know how it feels to know your parents have lied to you 14 years of your life?!" Freya shouted. "Yeah I do. My parents lied to me for technically 28 years of my life. I always thought I was good and put others before myself. But the only reason I was, was because my parents gave my darkness to a unborn child. Just so I could be good." I said annoyed. "What do you mean darkness?" Freya asked confused. "See, Freya I'm just like you. I was born from the strongest of true love. And that gave me magic. And then I grew up in a different realm and broke a curse that I had no intention of doing." I said. It must have confused her, she doesn't really know I have magic yet. Only that I was the dark one.

Killian walks back into Freya's room with a straight face. "The carriages are here. Liam is staying here under supervision so we can go." He says grabbing my hand. "Let's go I guess." I said standing up and walking out of the room behind Freya who was staying quiet. We walked to the front of the castle and got into our carriage. Me and Killian in one. Freya in the other.

"Killian, we've lost our daughter. She's never going to forgive us." I said beginning to cry. "Hey, hey. We haven't lost anyone. This will all come to pass and we will be a normal family again." Killian says hugging me. I cried into his shoulder and we set off to Rumple's castle.

Freya's POV

I couldn't believe anything I heard. I can't trust my parents anymore. The amount of lies that pile out of their mouths. Its too much to forgive. When I climed into the carriage by myself I kept the dagger tight in my hand. I ran my finger over the engravery and over my mothers name. I still couldn't comprehend what on earth must have happened that made her lie to me about all of her and fathers past. And how much Liam could've been hurt too. And apparently I'm going to cast a curse? I'm not that daft.

As we journeyed into the forest I tried to figure out all of the story and what happened. All I could remember was... My mom broke a curse in a different realm. Met my dad and became the dark one. Got it snuffed out of her, but not really and then had me and Liam. Not much background behind it all which was making it all hard to believe. But I had the dagger and it forces the dark one to speak the truth so my mom mustn't be lying.

It started to hit me all the hidden clues. The library in our castle and village was never open. I never found out much of my mom and dads past. My mom was so intelligent with magic and looked experienced. My dad would never read us the storybook and he said he hated lying. And the storybook he read us was full of lies.

We pulled up outside the castle which apparently had the storybook inside. I stepped out my carriage and fixed my dress. My parents came out of their carriage and I looked the opposite way. They walked up to the castles big doors and my dad knocked on the doors hard.
