After gathering myself together and putting on the support boyfriend face I walked into the gym and sat in the bleachers. Angry at myself I put my hoodie over my head and put my ear buds in my ears listening to My fav of Jhene Aiko:

She was singing my blues away. But I was interrupted by a tap on my shoulder. I looked up to see my best friend Tabitha standing over me with a smile. There was some nigga with her, but I was too in my feelings.

"Bitch who died to make you all gloomy."

She said being sarcastic.

"No one just chilling."

"Mhm...Rae watching you again."

She said stating the obvious.

"As we speak."

I replied pointing at the court because he was staring at us. She turned around and gave him a middle finger. Tabitha couldn't stand Rae. Only a couple people knew that me and Rae was together like our close friends. But only Tabitha knew how he treats me.

"Bitch I swear we are finding you another nigga."

She said flipping her hair.

"Whatever but hey who you?"

I said to the quiet nigga.

"Oh, you ight but my name Luke."

He replied shaking his hand, he had a firm grip. He was a cutie, but I didn't want to get caught looking at him. So, they sat and we went on talking about a bunch of stuff. Me and Tabitha argued bout me having another man and Luke just laughed. Then we would be comparing our clothes. She always thinks I'm rich no just got a good aunt.

Every now and then I would look out to catch Rae watching me. He was so jealous. And controlling. But i had to admit he was a beast on the court. But whoever he was playing against was giving him hell. He looked real familiar, but I couldn't make out who he reminded me of. All I knew was he was toe to toe if not better than RaeMal.

"Aye yo who that nigga all over RaeMal."

Luke asked.

"Oh, That's the new nigga. His name Tobias and bitch he fine."

Tabitha said tapping me on my shoulder. The name rings a bell but I couldn't rememberI knew of only one boy back when I was younger name Tobias. Maybe it was that bump on my head that was blocking my thoughts. All I know is he was fine and he did look kind of familiar to me.

"Ayo how long he been here.?!"

I asked Tabitha now curious about the new guy.

"For a couple of days. I have him in gym and for lunch."

She added.

"I feel like I know him but can't remember from where."

I mumbled trying hard to see if I knew him.

"Aye what's his last name?"

"Miko...malo...Mich.!?!"

She scrambled to remember.

"Mitchell.!?"

I said surprisingly.
