I said with an attitude.

"Yea...Mhm But I got to go cause bae wanna see me but bitch call the boy and see what's up."

She said giving me a hug and left. I laid there in the bed thinking of what could he want. So I just gave up and call.

"Hello..."

Damn he sounded so damn good answering the phone.

"Hey...umm I___."

"I wanna see you."

He cut me off.

"But I____."

"Please...I just need to see you."

"Tobias...I...ok."

"Come to my house Ill text you the address and come tonight."

"Ok..."

"Love you."

"Yea...I know "

I hung up. Damn even just hearing his voice sent me into a daze. I was really in love with Tobias and it was killing me to see us like this. I checked my phone and saw it was only 1:15 in the afternoon. Damn I thought being with Lamont would have kill most of the day. Tabitha was with her man and I was going to see Tobias later on tonight. Damn now what to do! Figuring i would just take a quick power nap and then go shopping later.

One hour later

I was shopping alone. Damn Tabby it worked. I asked Lamont could he taking me shopping and he gave me his card and keys. Said whatever I want just don't max out his card. And then I could drive his truck to Yass! Plugging in my phone I had to play my white girl ish Vanessa Carlton- A Thousand Miles

I was living this moment. Nothing could kill this moment for me. Sometimes you just need those moments to yourself to just breathe and relax. after all that i been going through and dealing with being it this truck by myself, alone listening to music was one of the best feelings in the world.

I drove for 20 minutes and finally pulled up at the mall. It was Packed as usual. My first store was of course footlocker. Had to get some new kicks. I came out with 4new pairs of shoes. Then off to bath & body works. I had to get some more lotion and body mist because miss Tabby killed my shit. Then it was off to American Eagle. I was running everywhere. After about an hour or of retail therapy I went back home and crashed for a nap. Yea that's exactly what I needed too. I woke up round 6 just in time for dinner but Ima have to miss it because I had gotten a text from Tobias saying he wanted to meet up now.

"Hey Alex____."

"Can't talk got to go be right back."

I said cutting my dad off and grabbing his keys. I don't know why I was rushing but I was too anxious to know what he wanted. Instead of meeting at his house he wanted to meet at a basketball court. He was seating on the bleachers looking all lonely.

"Hey."

I said catching his attention.

"Wassup..."

"I'm good I guess...and you."

"Chilling."

He answered, it got quiet. It was chilly outside and the wind was blowing.

"I didn't mean to."

Tobias said looking down at the ground.

"Didn't mean what?"

"I thought I lost you.... you were_____."

"T... its ok."

I said rubbing his knee. He gave me a little smile. So we sat there a he told me everything. The girl at the restaurant was a date but it didn't work out. So he been single ever since I was in the coma. Sitting there listening to him kind of made me feel bad inside because he never stopped loving me. He hasn't slept or really gotten close to anybody because he still in love with me. I felt selfish. Like I was holding him hostage.

"Tobias...I got to tell you something."

"Ight bae...what"

"After graduation...I'm leaving."

"Ok...like to college ight we going to the same college."

"No... we not."

Then a since of worry grew across Tobias face. He looked puzzled at me unaware of what I was saying.

"I'm moving to California with my dad."

Tobias eyes grew a little I knew this was a shocker for him. He really had planned on us to be together for real. He wanted to take me way and protect me from RaeMal. But I had already had other plans.

"So... you leaving me."

"I have to go...It's a chance for change and new life."

"But what about me...what about us."

"Tobias I can't stay here. I need this."

"But I need you! DAMN ALEX YOU GOT ME TWISTED I DON'T WANT NOBODY ELSE BUT YOU!!! I LOVE YOU!!"

He yelled at me. I was see shocked. He was flipping out on me kind of like Rae.

"Ok...I got to go."

"No... wait!"

He grabbed my arm.

"Tobias let me go!"

"Look...don't think I'm not happy for you! I just love you and want to be with you."

"And I understand that...but if you do love me then you will support me."

"I do...it's just...I don't want to lose you again."

A tear felled from his eyes. Tobias bear hugged me squeezing me tight.

"I want to see you happy...and I love you too."

I said looking into his eyes. Seeing him cry like this only made my decision even more difficult.

"Spend the night with me...I just want you with me tonight."

I agreed to its the least I can do before leaving him. Tobias was my best friend and lover. And just like Rae I had deep love for him. Giving him a kiss we got in the car and pulled off. It was gonna be hard because Tobias was understanding.

"Bae...what bout Rae?"

"I don't know yet."

"Well if you want I___."

"No... this is something I got to do myself. No more hiding."
