The thief walked to the mansion, rose in hand, and rather nicely dressed for a man of the forest.  David and Snow knew of the date between the Queen and the thief, David gladly helped the man dress more appropriate.  Actually very nicely, a nice very dark navy blue suit with a red silk bow tie and red silk handkerchief in his breast pocket.

The queen had always dressed to the nines, and here she was once again dressed in a loose burgundy dress.  She had burgundy earrings to match and dark red stilettos.  He had reached the door and knocked and waited patiently.

   "Hello, thief."  She teased.

"Your majesty."  He offered her the beautiful rose and she gladly took it with a bright smile.

"You look nice."  She looked him up and down, approved.

"I could say the same for you." He smirked.  "Come with me, my queen, your chariot awaits." She laughed a bit and walked with him to her 'chariot'

"My chariot is the Charming's truck?"  She questioned with a mixture of salt and sugar.

"Well there was no carriage service so I thought it'd be alright if David took us to our supper, and a simple thank you would suffice."  He said politely.

   "Sorry, it's just awkward."

"Aw, come on, Regina.  I'm not that bad."  David said through his truck.  Regina rolled her chocolate-colored eyes.

   "Alright." She said.

...

"You two kids have fun."  David teased.  Regina looked over her shoulder.

"Save it, Charming."  She tried to hide her smile, but he drove off with a bigger smile.

...

The Loft

David returned to the loft with a big smirk on his face.  He was thinking of many ways of how the date would turn out, he panned it to be a good date.

Snow walked into the living space, noticing David's struggle not to laugh.  "What are you smiling about?"  She questioned, intrigued.

"I'm just thinking of how the date is going."

"I'm happy for her, she hasn't had...a love interest let alone...a date in Lord knows how many years."  How long had it been since Regina was on a date or had a love interest?  "I'm sure her date is going swell."  She kissed him on the cheek.  "And thank you for taking them."

   "Of course."

"I can't believe you actually bought him a necklace for him to give Regina."  He started smiling, thinking back to when Robin was picking through those beautiful gems.  She kissed him again.

"I-well...she's family and I think of Robin as a brother now, and what is a brother to do?"

...

"What is this stuff called?  Ok.  It says red wine escargot topped with bow tie pasta.  What is escargot?  Or bow tie pasta for that matter?"  Robin asked.  She giggled at his confusion to these odd foods.

"Escargot is snail and bow tie pasta is...well shaped like your tie-". She pointed to his tie and he looked at it.  "They make this dough and roll it and form it into that shape.  You also put seasonings and sauce on it."

"I'll think I'll pass on the snail then." She smirked again.

"Well since you're trying pasta for the first time, how about something simple.  Like the pasta with tomato sauce with ricotta cheese."

"Then that it is."

...

"This is delicious, I wish they had this back in Misthaven." He said shoveling more food and wine into his mouth.

"Indeed." She laughed.

He stopped eating his food and he looked at the woman eating her food and still looked amazing. Her big cheekbones were accented by the lighting and her eyes sparkled like diamonds. He even noticed that scar on her lip, it just intrigued him more. She noticed his stare and slowly looked up as to why he'd be staring.

"What?"

"You're just so beautiful."

She ducked her pretty little head in an attempt to hide the blush running in her cheeks. "Thank you."

...

"Thank you for being our...chariot, David."  Regina thanked him

"No need to thank me."  He waved his hand to show it was ok.

"I'll come by the loft tomorrow to pick up Henry."  Regina finished.

He nodded and left for home.

"I had a nice time."  Robin said walking towards her.  She smiled.

"I did as well."  She looked at into his beautiful blue eyes, eyes you easily loose yourself in.  Then her eyes fell to his stubbly face and chiseled jawline.  He had great hair to.

"What is it?"  He said in a thick accent.

She had truly lost her self in his eyes, his soft, caring eyes.  She had never see such eyes, never since...Daniel.  Her eyes fell on his thin lips.  She inch closer to his face.  If tension in the air was visible it would everywhere around them.  Now, mere inches from the thief's lips, she paused and said.

"You're just so handsome."  She growled before aggressively closing the space between them.  She kissed him for the first time with such passion and fierceness.

She was so tired of being alone.  She had Henry and the Charmings she supposed, but she needed to love again.  Like Daniel had said to her before he died once again.  She broke their passionate kiss, with foreheads pressed together.

"I found it."  She breathed out from the lack of oxygen from the kiss.

   "Found what m'lady?"  He labored.

"Love again."  She smiled and kissed him again.  They both smiled through the kiss.

She had found love again.  Daniel was surely proud of her.
