Thanks cameronscookiee  for the suggestion! I modified it a bit to archery, hope that's okay!

Regina was waiting for the thief to arrive in the forest.  Then he appeared.  He was very handsome, but she didn't want to admit it.  She had kind of developed a small crush on him.  She highly doubted that he returned the feelings.

"Milady.  I hope you're ready today.  Last time you nearly hit me with an arrow.  I'm not the target."

"Well you were to me."  She growled.  "Let's get this over with thief."  Robin snickered at her lack of motivation.

   "Milady-"

   "It's your majesty."  She corrected.

"Okay your majesty.  Let's establish your problem areas first."  He said whilst carrying the his equipment.

"Like what?  My aging form, complexion, having someone who cares for them, happiness-"

He chuckled, "No I meant your skills or lack thereof in archery. And I think you're quite beautiful. You will find happiness and your son again, Regina."

He thinks I'm beautiful? "Alright...well let's work on my archery...problems." She insisted.

"As you wish." He mumbled. He gave her the bow and arrows. "Now aim for that tree."

He looked over her stance. "Elbow up. Pull back more...there you go." His hand was still resting on her elbow.

"Alright shoot." He encouraged. She focuses on the bullseye and released the arrow.

The arrow was pretty close to the center. Regina tried to keep her excitement in and not act like a child.

"Great shot. You're getting much better." She extended the bow again. "Eager are we?" She looked at him and smirked. His hand grasped hers and steadied her. His other hand again on her elbow.

She let the arrow fly once more. Bullseye. She beamed in excitement. "I got it!

"Yes you did Milady!" He smiled at her. Then she turns to him, revealing her smile that he never really saw.

He was awestruck. He had never seen such a gorgeous and contagious smile in his life.

"Robin?" She asked, snapping him out of his gaze.

"Uh-sorry Milady. I couldn't help it. You just have such a pretty smile."

She blushed and tried really hard not to show it. He calls me beautiful and thinks I have a pretty smile? Does he like me? Nope. No way. Not possible.

Then Regina heard a scream behind her and she didn't have enough time to react when a flying monkey swooped down and latched onto her. She was raised into air.

"Regina!!" He grabbed his bow and arrow and shot at the beast. He missed and then shot again, success.

She dropped to the floor, but caught her and then he fell back. She was on top of him. Her face an inch from his. She could fell his breath and she looked him in the eyes. Before she knew what she was doing she leaned down and kissed him slowly. His eyes widened with shock, but then he realized he very much liked the kiss. He tried to sit up and he wrapped his arms around her small frame.

She broke the kiss. She feared the worst. She took his sleeve and pushed it up on his right arm, revealing a tattoo.

He's my soulmate. Shock painted her face and she got up and poofed away.

"Regina, wait!" He got up and it was stop late. Why has she looked at his tattoo. Did it mean something to her?

He would find this woman. If it was the last thing he did.
