Part 23: Back Home (FQ)

Requested sequel of 'Just a Kiss'.

They had made it home. They were back in Storybrooke...alive with Henry. The Charmings walked off the ship as the town roared in their appearance. Then Hook and the Lost Boys walked off.

Neal grabbed Regina's hand and looked her in the eye. She still didn't understand what he saw in her. He smiled at and walked her down to dry land. Most of the town gave the couple looks that Neal didn't appreciate. He really liked Regina, and they shouldn't judge her for her past. She's a cool person once you get to know her.

They stopped walking at he put of strand of hair behind her ear. Then his hand held her cheek and he kissed her with passion. The people besides the Charmings gave them disgusted looks.

He look into those big and slightly-lonesome eyes and saw a sparkle. He loved the sparkle.

"What's with the Evil Queen and that guy?" Ruby asked Snow.

"Red she's just Regina. And that guy is Neal which is Henry's biological father. I think she's fallen in love with him."

"Yeah they keep sucking faces over there." Red snarled.

"Red, don't...don't judge her okay. She's been through a lot and she's very lonesome. I think that since she's found someone to love and love her back it makes her really, truly happy. She's just trying to change and we have to allow the process to take place."

"Okay. I have to admit I've never seen her smile that big."

Snow nodded and smiled. "Everyone!" She shouted. "Everyone! I'd just like to say that we wouldn't be here with Henry without her...Regina."

Regina looked over from Neal and at Snow. Then she saw everyone's glance and her eyes were frantically trying to find someone that wasn't looking at her.

"She's a hero and deserves to be treated like one. So thank her for this." Snow finished and smiled at her. Regina was in shock. Neal couldn't help but smile at Regina's reaction. She looked cute when she was confused.

"See people do believe in you." Neal said and smiled.

"Thank you for being there for me." She mumbled and she pulled him into a slow kiss.

"Forever and always." He whispered.

"You are super corny."

"You know you like it."

"Yeah I do." They embraced each other.

"Thank you for caring for my son."

"He's my everything."

"What about me?!" He teased.

"You his father, so you're a part of my everything."

He really liked hearing that so he kisses her fiercely without a care in the world and pun her around which made her giggle under his lips.

Snow couldn't help but smile brightly at the couple. She was really happy for Regina.

   The Diner

   Neal, Henry, and Regina came into the diner as a family.  Well more like a small part of Henry's ridiculously-sized family.  He held her hand dearly and they sat down at a table. 

   "So you guys are dating?"  Henry asked. 

   "Pretty much."  Neal said, smiling at Regina.

   "Are you alright with that, dear?" Regina asked.

   "He makes you happy mom, how could I stop that?" 

   Regina loved hearing that so she hugged Henry tightly and kissed his forehead. 

   "Now we can be a family."  Henry said.

   "We sure can kiddo." 

   And they lived happily ever after.
