Chapter 6: Manny help me!

The spirit came inside and took a form. I could see clearly that it was a Griffon. He was pure black golden eyes and really tiny, like a few months old. I smiled and kneeled down towards him. Him slowly walked over to me and sniffed my hand. He then flew/jumped into my arms. He weighted only a few pounds.

North walked back in the room and saw the little griffon in my arms. He motioned for me to come with him to the meeting room. Once there, I set the small creature down in my lap. Tooth came over to me and started petting the griffon.

"So, what's the plan on getting Jack back to normal?" I asked everyone there.

"We think you could help us there Eve." Bunny stated.

I looked up from Midnight Dream. I decided to name him after something good that came from the night sky and sleep. I looked over at Bunny and shook my head.

"Bunny, how can I go there when the very thought of my father gives me the creeps?" I sassed a little.

They all looked around and started talking about ways for me to get close. I just sighed and talked to Midnight Dream. He seemed as confused as I was when I first got here. I just smiled and sang quietly to him. As I was singing, I realised how close it was to halloween. I had only about 6 days to plan. I looked over at the others and saw them still talking to eachother.

"Wanna get out of here and help me with Halloween Midnight?" I asked him.

He smiled and we both snuck to the open window. I placed him on the edge of the window and he flew outside. Once he was outside, he grew big enough for me to ride him home on. I smiled and climbed on his back. I looked back inside and saw them still talking.

"Lets go boy, we have things to do." I whispered to him as we took off for home.

Pitch's POV:

I was sitting just outside North's workshop, just watching everything that was going on. I saw Evelynn leaving on the Griffon she called. I must say, she is wonderful. Jack is on his way to her place to give her the tiara. Then Halloween can be the fear making holiday it was made to be.

I smiled and teleported myself to Evelynn's home to see Jack change my daughter back to what she was made to be.

Eve's POV:

Once Midnight and I were back home, I started the fire and set Midnight down infront of it so he could be warm. He was back to his original size as cute as ever. I was about to start work on a new spell for more candy production when I heard a knock at my door.

"Who's there?" I asked.

"Eve! You have to help me! I've escaped Pitch and he's after me! Please Eve, please help me!" I heard what sounded like Jack.

"Jack? Is that really you?" I grabbed Midnight and walked towards the door.

"Yes, please Eve. I need your help. THe other guardians don't trust me and won't let me back! I need help. Please Eve, you're my last hope." He cried.

I felt bad and opened the door to see the dark Jack standing there. I gasped and heard Midnight do a hiss/growl thing that made Jack jump. I felt weak and looked to see daddy dearest in the trees. I slammed the door and put a protection spell on the door. I dropped Midnight and stepped back. I almost fell for that trick. Looking around, I looked for something to get a message to the guardians. I soon found a piece of blank paper and a pen.

Dearest Guardians,

Please hurry. I need your help. Pitch and Jack are at my home right now and I am weak. I fear that if they find a way into my home, I will be forced to join them. I need your help before they change Halloween.

Eve Hallows

I rolled up th note and handed it to Midnight. He grabbed it in his tallen and I ran him to the window. I opened it to see nightmares starting to surround the cottage. I held him outside and he streached his wings.

"Send this to the guardians at North's workshop. Hurry Midnight Dream." I called as he flew away.

I turned around to see the nightmares starting to go through the protection spell and come through the door. I gasped and looked for anything to protect myself with. There was nothing within my reach. I looked up to the door to see Jack and Pitch walking towards me.

"Oh Manny help me." I gasped.
