Chapter 13: Happily Ever After

Eve's POV:

We all went to my cottage, looking at it, it seemed small. I looked over at my Stallions and flicked my wrists, a new orange dust coming from them and to my small cottage, turning it into a castle. I smiled and invited everyone in. There was now stain-glass windows showing all of the memories I have except for my death, and the fall of Pitch. Many more rooms that I could keep my ingredents in and a big ballroom for parties.

"Wow Eve! Nice remodel." Jack smiled.

"Well, now that I have all of these little guys, I need room for all of them." I replied while petting a Stallion.

Everyone went off to explore while I walked all of my new helpers to a big corral with plenty of stalls for all of them. Once they all went into the stalls, names appeared. I smiled and walked to every one of them. I gave them each a few pats on the head.

"Father didn't bother to give you names, did he?" I asked them.

They all whinnied happily at me while I smilede at them. Looking around at what has happened in a short time, I was happy with the choice I made to be a guardian. I started walking back to the main part when North stopped me.

"I see you've found your center Evie" He smiled.

"Yup, just had to be brave enough to see it." I replied.

I walkede to the main room and saw a throne with vines and orange lilies around it. I smiled and sat down on it. I looked and saw a stain-glass window with a picture of me and Hunter playing in the fall leaves. Sophie looks so much like him. I smiled at the thought and looked ahead of me.

Jack stood there looking at the window like I was. He seemed like he was happy with what happened. When he looked back at me, he was smiling at me. He started to walk over to me and stood infront of me.

"A throne? Really Hallows?" He laughed

"Someone has to rule the night, I think that its me." I smiled.

"Hunter looks like Sophie."

"Sophie is a decendent of his, so is Jamie."

He held his staff on his sholders and walked towards the door. I smiled and followed him. He walked out and flew up towards Burgas. I whistled for Midnight and we chased after him.

We soon came to Jamie's house and Jack tapped on Jamie'ss window while I tapped on Sophie's. The kids woke up and ran outside once they saw us. We explained how we defeated Pitch and that the Nightmares were now under my control. They were all happy and soon ran to tell their friends. Jack looked at me and grabbed my hand. His touch was cold, but felt nice in my hand.

We both left for the Pole and all of the Guardians were celebrating the final defeat of Pitch. We joined and we all ran through the snow Jack helped make thicker outside. I left for home after the party was done and looked over to Manny. He was shining bright in the night sky. I could see Sandy flying around sending dreams. I flicked my wrist and released the Stallions to fly in the sky.

I smiled at what has happened. I knew that my immortal life has now changed and maybe it's time for someone to be a king alongside me. I snapped my fingers and a notepad and pen appeared infront of me. I grabbed them and started writting a message. Once I was done, I called for a Stallion named Topher and he carried off the message. Sitting on my throne, I waited for the front doors to open.

After a few minutes, Jack came through the door and ran up to me. I had been thinking about him in the back of my mine since I helped him and Tooth told me that he had been thinking about me too. He picked me up and spun me around, a big smile on both of our faces.

"Glad that we're both on the same page." He laughed.

I flicked my wrists and another throne came up next to mine. He smiled and placed some frost on it. We both walked over to them and sat next to eachother. Looking out on the small kingdom of childrens' fun and bravery. After all of the things we have both been through, helping the children had become top and stays there.

And after all this time, I was and still am the Light in his Dark.
