Third peron POV: North's workshop.

The guardians had just noticed that Eve and her griffon had left and they were starting to get worried. Just as they were about to go out and start looking, a slight tap came on the window. Bunny rushed over and opened the window so Midnight could come in. The small griffon looked like he had put up a fight just to get here. His featheres were missing in some places and he couldn't stand up on his own.

North grabbed the note from his talon as Bunny held the baby animal in his paws. North scanned over the note a his face changed from confused to pure shock. Tooth saw this and got scared. She grabbed the note and read it herself. Her face then mirrored North's and she handed it to Sandy. Sandy read it as pictures flew over his head. The last image above his head was a tombstone and Eve standing next to it.

"What are we going to do?" Bunny asked after he had read the note.

"She needs our help, we have to go to her." North called out.

The yeti's took Midnight away while Bunny created his tunnels to get to Eve's cottage faster. They all flew down the tunnels as fast as they could. Once they finally got to the small forrest clearing, the sight before them was something none of them could predict.

Eve's POV:

I laid down on the forrest floor as the nightmares surrounded me. I was in my dress, now torn, and was bare footed. Pitch was trying to open up my spell book as Jack was keeping an eye on me. I knew that because I could hear them. I kept my eyes closed so that they couldn't try to get the nightmare sand inside them.

"Open up Eve." Dark Jack commanded as he walked up to me.

I huffed and kept my eyes shut tight. He kicked my side and I felt some frost come on my side as well. I groaned but kept my eyes shut. I turned so my ear and hurt side was on the ground. I could hear the faint sound of things moving in the dirt like in tunnels. I smirked, feeling the things just a few feet away from me.

"Jack, we don't need to have her killed. We need her for the final stage of our plan." Pitch yelled while he still tried to open her spell book.

"We need her to join us so we can get the book open. She won't open her eyes and she kicked the tiara away into the forrest." Dark Jack complained.

I smiled. "Glad to see that you are still complaining about everything Frost."

I felt another kick to my back this time. I arched my back on impact and cried out. I felt more ice and the cold was starting to affect me. I shivered andcurled into a ball.

"Why are you doing this Jack?" I asked kinda loudly so the guardians could hear.

"I want believers." He replied simply.

"You have believers Jack. Jamie Bennett and his friends. What would they say if they saw you right now?" I shouted.

Third person POV:

The guardians heard Eve say that and left over for Burgess. It didn't take much to find Jamie and his friends. They were having a sleepover at Jamie's house and were all in his room. The guardians went up to his window on one of Sandy's sand clouds and tapped on the window.

Jamie was playing with his friends when they all heard the tapping and went over to the window. Once they saw who it was they smiled and let them in. North was the first and he explained what was going on. The kids decided to come with the guardians against the guardians wished to keep them there to be safe.

They all came back to the clearing and the kids gasped at the sight of Dark Jack and Pitch. Jack was hovering above what looked like an empty spot on the grass. Jamie tried to run over to Jack but bunny held him back. A small graon was heard by the "empty space" that caused the children to look closer. To their suprise, a figure materialized and looked broken.

"North, whose that?" Jamie asked the Christmas spirit.

"Eve Hallows. She's a new guardina and the spirit of Halloween." North responded still looking at the bruised body.

They all looked over and waited for the right moment to save both Eve and Jack from Pitch's hands.
