((Sorry about this not being here. I tried to update this part in but it wouldn't work for some reason. Hope it works now!))

Eve's POV:

I ended up loosing so I am currently in the kitchen area of the pole and I was almost done with making the hot cocoa. North's was in a big cup and had pepermint candy canes in it with mint flavoring, Tooth's was sugar free (and believe me, that was hard enough to make before the special flavoring) with some mint extract, Sandy's was in a yellow cup and I had a little less sugar in it than normal, Bunny's was normal but with some flowers around the edge of the cup for spring time, Jack had extra whipped cream and I had some cinnimon on the top of the cream. Once I was done, I brought it out for everyone.

"Happy Halloween guys!" I called as I entered the main room with the mugs on a tray.

They were all talking about how to stop Pitch and save the kids. I sat and sipped my cocoa, listening to the conversation between all of them. Was this what you do when your a guardian? Just sit around and think of ways to keep the kids safe from threats? This is a little boring. I looked at the table and started drawing circles on it with my finger.

"Eve, do you have any ideas on how to stop you father?" I heard North ask.

I just shook my head no and continued drawing the circles into the table. It's already Halloween so there was no stopping him. I've completed all my tasks and now I just sit and wait for the day to be over. I used to go out and give a little bit more halloween spirit but with all the things that have happened, I just want to stay near the guardians and help them.

"Eve, your father is more powerful like you are right now. That means that he is also at the most vunerable. He could be stopped once and for all tonight but we need a plan on how." Bunny growled.

"I don't have any ideas Bunnymund. I can only think of how the children are doing. I know that I need to stop him but I need to be with them. I'll see you all later." I sighed as I got up.

Once outside, I whistled and Midnight came to me. I climbed on him and we road off. I knew that I had to help some of the kids with their fears but now, Halloween was over in most time zones so I had to go close to home. About half way there, I thought about Jamie and his friends. They seemed nice and they were my only believers right now so, why not give them a Halloween to remember.

I told Midnight where to go and we flew off to Burgess. Once there, I looked around for Jamie. I ended up stopping in a park and sat down on a bench. Midnight went back to the cottage so he could rest. I looked up at the trees and smiled at the leaves.

"Eve?" I heard a small voice call.

I looked over to where the voice came from and saw a boy in a vampire costume and a little girl next to him in a fairy costume. "Jamie? Is that you?" I called back.

"Happy Halloween Eve! This is my little sister Sophie. Say hi to Eve Soph." Jamie explained as he and Sophie walked over.

Sophie looked over at me and I saw the blond hair that Hunter had. Smiling, I walked over to her and kneeled to her level. She hid behind her big brother and looked shyly at me.

"Hello Sophie, my name's Evie. Are you a fairy?" I asked in an aww voice.

She just nodded her head and smiled a little. I could tell she was scared. I mean it was Halloween so there were some older kids that liked to pull tricks and scare the living daylights out of the little ones. I like to think that the big scaring the little was from my father but it is something that became part of the holiday.

"You don't need to be scared Sophie, I won't hurt you." I smiled and held out my hand.

She looked at it and back at Jamie. He smiled at her and let go of her hand. She smiled and walked over to me. She grabbed my hand and I spun her around. She giggled and started saying "Spin, spin! Faster, faster!" That just made me laugh with her.

"You two should be getting home, I'll walk you and I have some treats for you guys." I laughed and took them by their hands and started walking with them back to their house. Jamie gave me directions and we were soon only about a block away.

I was telling them both a story when I felt something off. I stopped and held both of their hands tightly. Sophie started shaking a little bit and Jamie was just quiet. I looked around the sky to hopefully see what was going on but, there was nothing. I picked Sophie up and placed her on my hip with her hiding her face in my neck. With one last look around, I saw a shadow coming towards us.

"Who's there?" I called and instantly regretted it.

The shadow didn't respond but instead started coming at us faster. I turned around and started running away, Jamie running beside me. I told Sophie to keep her head down and told Jamie to just keep running with me. I looked back to see it coming closer. I groaned and looked up at the sky. Manny was shining bright on us like he was trying to talk but I couldn't hear him. I soon saw a forest and pulled Jamie over to it with me.

We ran through the forest and soon, I saw my cottage. Jamie was startedeing to slow down so I stopped quickly so I could pick him up and put him on my back. Once he was on, I started running as fast as my legs could go. When we were finally at the cottage, I ran in and locked the door. I placed Jamie and Sophie down and ran to all the windows.

"Evie, what was that thing?" Jamie asked.

"Shadows, they may not seem dangerous but that was the same thing that came when I died and became Eve Hallows. We should be safe here, atleast for a little while. Midnight Dreams!" I called out and Midnight flew in.

The kids were sitting on the floor while I grabbed paper and wrote a note.

Guardians,

Please hurry! I have Jamie and Sohpie with me and we need help. i should have stayed for the meeting and came up with something but right now, I need help. I'll try to come up with something for when you come but until then you just need to come. I will keep them both safe but I don't know how long I can. Just hurry. Please!

Eve Hallows

I tied the note to Midnight's neck and he flew out the window. I locked the window after he left and walked over to a closet I had in the room. It was small but both Jamie and Sophie could fit. I grabbed their hands and sat them in there. I was about to close the door when I looked back at them.

"Evie, I'm scared." I heard Sophie whisper.

"You don't need to be scared Sophie, just remember. You are the bravest person I know. Fear can not touch the brave remember that." I smiled, the memory of Hunter saying that when I replied to her.

I closed the door and locked it shut. I looked at the door and slowly walked over to it. Once there, I opened the door and saw the shadow standing there. I sighed and looked up at where the face would be.

"Hello Father." I said simply as I felt a pain at the back of my head and blacked out.
