Back home in New Jersey, everyone was settled around the living room. We actually put up a Christmas tree, as well as a few other Christmas decorations around the house. The lights were warm and the atmosphere felt comfortable. We had sweaters, hot drinks and an arrangement of films. It was Frank, Gerard, Ray, Mikey and I, or Frank likes to call us, 'The Squad.' Tula was back home too, we were all kind of like a big happy family.
As for Pete and his friends, they're in jail. Pete got a life sentence after being convicted of the numerous murders. His friends on the other hand, happened to get a lighter sentence for being accomplices.
How could we forget about Bob? He's in jail as well, sentenced for odds and ends of crimes. Robbery, assault, being an accomplice. He'll be sure to live an uneventful life behind bars.
I ended up moving out of my apartment, and just moving into Mikey and Gerard's. I sold some stuff and made some money, while adding a touch of my own to the place. It felt nice, being involved in everything, even the parties.
I met everyone's families, they all seemed quite friendly. Donna makes the best crepes, even though the boys disagree and say that mine are better, I chose not to compare.
As for the violent mood swings that Mikey got, I learnt to deal with them without being scared. They come around less often and it's mostly smooth sailing after they're done.
My life was boring before, but through ups and downs, I'm at a comfortable place in my life. Every night feels like a sleepover with my best friends, and I couldn't ask to live with and spend my time with any other group of boys.
