When you're 16 there's a lot of decisions you have to make. You have to decide what to wear for the first day of school, how you're gonna do your hair for picture day, what you're gonna be when you grow up. There's also a lot of decisions you shouldn't have to make. Baby names are a prime example of a decision you shouldn't have to think about at 16. Especially if it's your baby that's growing in your stomach as you speak.
I woke up to the sound of breaking glass.
"Shit there goes another one!"Perfect way to start off your day... Not. I groaned as I got out of bed for the first day of school. I looked at the clock. 5:30. Just enough time to get ready. I grabbed my robe that was behind the door and braced myself as I walked down stairs. I toke the last step to find my drunken father passed out on the couch. Typical dad, always there for me.
I rolled my eyes in disgust at the sight and went to go clean up the smashed beer bottle on the floor. I had barely touched the mess when I felt sick to my stomach. I went to the bathroom and threw up last nights dinner.
"Trinaty Avaya Hosler keep it down in there I'm tryna' sleep!" My dad screamed from the living room.
I didn't have the energy to put up with a fight this morning so I just got up and brushed my teeth. I stumbled back upstairs to my room. I didn't bother shutting my door, not like anyone cared enough to come check on my anyways. I'm an only child. At least I consider myself to be. My mom left my dad for another man. It killed me at first, she told me she still loved me and I could come visit her in California any time I wanted. I realize now that that was the biggest lie in the world. She never returned my calls and last we heard, she had 2 kids with that creep of a boyfriend of hers. After my mom left, my dad had to get another job as a truck driver so he's gone most of the time. He turned to alcohol as an escape. So he's either always gone or drunk.I went to my dresser and pulled out a black hol lister tee and a pair of bleached skinny jeans. I put them on and straightend my dirty blonde hair. I ran downstairs and put on my converse, kissed my drunk father on the cheek, grabbed my bag and walked to the bus stop.
"TRIN!" My best friend Chloe ran up to me and gave me a huge hug.
"ChloeCat!" I returned the hug, even though we just seen each other 2 days ago.
"What's up baby?" She asked jokingly as we walked the rest of the way to the bus stop.
"Not much sweet stuff." I replied.
My butt vibrated and I pulled out my phone
"So how's Dallas?" She asked, knowing that he was the one texting me. I read the text
*see you at school beautiful. _dallas*
"He's good." I said. Probably blushing"Aww. You guys are so cute together." She said peering over my shoulder to read the text.
Dallas and I have been together since the beginning of freshmen year. We met at a football game. He was in the JV football team and I was a cheerleader. I had a major crush on him and I was really shocked when he asked me out. He was the guy that all the girls wanted. Cutely styled blonde hair and the most amazing blue eyes. He was- just gorgeous.
*K baby. trinaty107*The bus pulled into schools and me and Chloe got out first. Dallas of course was waiting for me. He looked great in his cargo shorts and Nike tee. "Dallas!" I ran to him and he picked me up in a giant hug. He was at football camp for the last week and I haven't got to see him. "Hey Trinaty." He replied pecking my lips.
"How was camp?" I asked as he put me down.
"Pretty bad, only because you weren't there." He said grabbing my hand.
"Lemme see your schedule."
He took a piece of paper from his back pocket and handed it to me.
"We have 3rd hour math together." I said smiling.
"Great" he said smirking. "Now I know what class I'm looking forward to this year." He said.
"I missed you a lot you know that?" He asked."Hey Dallas!" A group of football players came over to where we were standing. One of which I recognized as Chloe's brother.
"Um hey guys.." He said beginning to talk to them.
"Hey Trinaty." Chloe's brother came over to me.
"Hi Chad." I smiled.
"How's it going I haven't seen you in forever." He joked.
I let out a small laugh "yeah" I agreed.
Dallas came up to me and put his hand on my shoulder.
"Chad." He growled.
"Just talking." He assured, putting his hands in the air.
"You can go ahead and go with them Dallas, I'll catch up with Chloe." I said, prying away from his grip. "See you in 3rd." I said giving him a kiss.
Thanks, he mouthed before playfully smacking Chad on the back of the head and then walking away.
Now to find Chloe.
I walked into the crowded hall to find my locker. The uneasy nauseous feeling returned. I slowly paced myself down the hall, trying my best not to bump into people.
It felt like it toke forever to find Chloe in the school that actually only holds less then 700 people.
I finally found her leaning against a row of lockers, flirting with some kid.
"Hey Chloe."I said slowly embracing her"Heyyyyy Trinaty." "How's your boy toy?" She said winking.
"He's good." I smiled. "I uh. Actually ran into Chad." I added
"Eww sorry about that." She said, pretending to puke.
"No. It was alright."
"Are you feeling okay?" She felt my forehead.
The familiar feeling returned and I raced towards the bathroom just barely making the stall and tossing the breakfast I didn't have have.
Just moments later I felt someone pick up my hair.
"Trinaty?" She asked. It was Chloe"Are you ok?" She asked as I finished throwing up.
I leaned my back against the stall and flushing the toilet. "Oh yeah I'm great." I said sarcastically holding my stomach
"Trinaty you never get sick" she said, staring at me wide eyed.
Suddenly my stomach dropped, the kind of feeling you get when your waiting to get a test back you know you failed.
Then I just remembered something
I had sex with Dallas
