A little Apology

I told the lady at the check in counter to charge the bill to my dads credit card.

After he notices that I'm gone and once he realizes that I'm really pregnant, he'll be to drunk to realize what he's paying for

Four weeks later

The past month has been pretty boring.
Chloe's mom decided to let me stay until my dad
"Comes to his senses" which will be never, because he doesn't have any.

So until then I'm staying in their guest bedroom. And she made Chad and I promise not to "do anything" stupid.

Yeah, she doesn't know that I'm pregnant.

Besides, Chads not that kind of person.

Back when we were just friends, we talked about our future sand he had always said that he wants to wait until he gets married before he looses his virginity. I only wish now that I would have listened to him.

He's been really sweet to me lately. He gives me rides to school everyday, and waits for me in the parking lot after school.

Dallas has been avoiding me, sometimes I wonder if that's not the best for me and the baby. I'd much rather have Chad be the "father" then Dallas be the father.

"Trinaty."
I opened my eyes to find Chad laying just two inches in front of me

"Good morning beautiful." He said as he kissed my nose, he was already dressed and here I was, still in my pjs

"Chad its a weekend" I whined as I turned away from him

"You have a visitor." He whispered

I turned to face him again

"Who?" I asked

"Your dad" he said, putting my hair behind my ear

"My dad?!" I yelled, sitting up.

It's been at least a month since I've even spoken a word to him

"Trinaty it's ok. Just go down and see what he wants, I'll be down the hall if you need me." He said, pulling some clothes out of the dresser.

"Here." He said, handing me a pair of skinny jeans as a tee shirt.

We went back to my house a couple weeks ago to pick up some things when my dad was out.

I just buried my head in the pillow.

"You'll be fine." He laid the clothes next to me
"Besides, I'm not even supposed to be I here."

He left and closed the door behind him.

Great, I thought.

I finally convinced myself to get up. I put on the clothes that Chad left me and went down the hall to the bathroom. I passed Chloe's room on the way and noticed that it was vacant. I didn't bother with makeup, besides, it was just my dad.

I walked towards the staircase and passed Chads room.

He was sitting at his desk reading, the door was wide open.

"Chad." I whispered.

He looked up.

"Where's Chloe?" I asked

"Her and my mom went to the store." He whispered back "now stop stalling"

He was right. I needed to get this over with.

I walked downstairs, bracing myself to what awaited me.

I took the last step and found my dad, sitting on the couch. His eyes were bloodshot and it looked as if he hadn't shaved for weeks

"Wow, look at you." He said, standing up "your already startin to show."

I looked down at my stomach. To most people it would just look like I had gained some weight, but I was in fact getting bigger.

"W-what do you want?" I said, crossing my arms.

"I came to apologize Trinaty." He said, walking closer

I just stared at the floor
