I stared out the window on our way to Walmart thinking about what and idiot I was for probably having unprotected sex. Let alone have sex at all.
"Trinaty." Said Chloe. Breaking the silence. "Even if you are pregnant, it's not the end of the world." She smiled looking at me.
"Yeah you don't have my dad." I retorted, glancing at her.
"Yeah I have worse." She mumbled
"What?" I asked, not hearing what she said.
"Nothing." She said, letting it go.
When we pulled up, Chloe got out and opened my door for me.
"You've got to get out sometime." She said grabbing my arm.
We went into the store and went down an isle pretty much filled with pregnancy tests.
"Oh god I didn't know there were so many"
"Well let's look at a few and find one that sounds the best." She reassured me.
"See, look at this one, it's like green, your favorite color."she said, putting it in the basket.
We grabbed a few more and went to the checkout. The lady gave me a look of disgust when she rang them up.
"Like you haven't been there." Chloe growled at the lady, skimming her up and down."now if you'll excuse us, mrs grinch." She added, grabbing the bag and my arm. When we walked out of the store I thought we were gonna die of laughter.
When we got to the car I took the bag and stared at the boxes.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot I might have a person growing inside me."
"Lighten up sweet cheeks at least this kid is gonna be attractive. I mean, it could be worse. It could be Chads kid." She said laughing.

We decided it was best if we just pulled over on the side of the street. Neither of us wanted to go home and I was dying to find out if I was pregnant or not.
"So now what?" Chloe said. "Are you gonna go pee on a stick in the woods?" She asked.
"There's a first time for everything." I replied grabbing the bag." Come with me."
"Oh great. Now I get to watch you urinate too? Wow so much excitement in one day." She said laughing.
We both got out and walked about 20 minutes into the woods, making sure no one is around.
"I'll wait here." She said stopping.
"Good idea." I rolled my eyes.
I walked about five feet and found a rock to sit down on. Why didn't I wait TIL I got home? I thought. I opened all 3 boxes and got the stick ready. I'll spare you the details of the struggle to pee on a stick but long story short, I peed on all of them.
"Almost done?" Chloe called.
"Yeah come here. I can't watch." I closed my eyes and Chloe came over to sit next to me.
"What do they say?" I said anxiously
"You might want to call up Dallas." She said. "Cause he's about to be a daddy."
"What!?!" I shouted, breathless "the test must be wrong." I screamed, pacing around and running my hand threw my hair.
"All three of them." She said, staring at them.
I sat down, and put my head on my knees and cried. I mean there's women that have sex twenty times and don't get pregnant, but here I am, I screwed up once and got knocked up.
Chloe came over and gave me a hug and I let her.
"What is Dallas gonna say?" I said, wiping away tears with my hand.
"You've got to stop thinking about that Trinaty, it's just making it worse. All we need to worry about now is getting you home. Okay?"
"Man, what is my dad gonna say?" I said, crying into my knees again.
"Come on trinaty, it's not as bad as you're making it seem. I mean sure, you made a bad decision and got knocked up and all but-"
"You're not the one who is pregnant!" I screamed. " I can't barely take care of myself and now I'm going to be responsible for another human being."
"Yeah you are Trinaty but you're not alone okay? You have me and Dallas, and I'm sure that once you tell your dad, he'll be supportive too."
"Are you the same Chloe I known since 4th grade, the one that helped me bandage my arm in 5th grade when my dad burnt it with a cigarette? Or the one who took me to the hospital freshman year when he broke my wrist? Because I sure as hell know that that Chloe would know that my dad would NOT be supportive of his daughter fucking the kid he hates."
"Okay trinaty I was just trying to help." She said quietly looking down to the floor.
We sat in silence, on the floor, in the woods in the middle of nowhere, for what seemed like eternity.
"I'm sorry Chloe I'm just scared." I said walking over to give her a hug.
"I'm sorry you have to go through this" she said, hugging me back."
"And I'm sorry to you too, that you have to deal with this." I said rubbing my stomach.
