By the end of the week I had almost completely forgotten about the Alpha and him being my mate. Sally and Tim had taken me all around town and showed me everything, I was having lots of fun and didn't want to leave. I didn't want to say goodbye to my family just yet. We were on our way to the airport so I could catch my plane home but first we needed to go and see the Alpha and tell him I was leaving, I didn't want to go and see him but I said I would before I left. It was just me, Sally and Tim going in and seeing the Alpha because Mary and Bob were at work, I had already said bye to them this morning. I wasn't paying attention until Sally pulled my hand, we had walked into the pack house and were walking towards the Alpha's office. I tried to stand behind Tim and Sally like last time but Sally wasn't letting me.

"You need to face your fears Tay. You need to see him" Sally whispered to me as we got to the office door. We were called in after Tim knocked on the door, I was to scared to walk so Tim pulled my arm until I was in the room and shut the door behind me.

"And what can I do for you three today?" The Alpha asked once we were sitting on the couch.

"We were just coming to inform you about our cousin leaving today." Tim answered. The Alpha turned to me.

"I was hoping you would be staying a little longer Taylah, why do you need to leave so soon?" He asked.

"Well it is Billy's birthday in a few days and I need to be home to help with everything that will be happening" I replied quietly.

"Billy?"

"My brother, sir"

"Of course" He turned to Tim and Sally" Do you mind if I speak to your cousin alone for a few minutes?"

"Of course not Alpha, we will be waiting for you out side Tay" Sally answered. Tim and Sally left the room quickly and shut the door, leaving me alone with the Alpha. I didn't say anything for a minute before I looked up and saw the Alpha staring at me.

"What did you want to talk to me about Alpha?" I asked quietly. My voice seemed to make him focus on what was happening around him again.

"I just wanted to make sure that you know about our situation"

"Which situation?"

"The one about as being mates" I nodded

"I know" I said quietly. "I just can't do that just yet, I'm not ready for it and I have to help my brother"

"I can understand that, how about we start off as friends and get to know each other until your ready?" He said handing me a piece of paper. Making me notice that during the time we spent talking he had walked over and sat next to me on the couch.

"I would like that, thank you" I said looking at the paper, it had his number on it and said to call him whenever I wanted to talk. I looked up at him, only to see he was already looking at me. I turned my head away trying to hide the blush that had come onto my face.

"You know, you don't have to call me Alpha all the time, you are allowed to call me Mason. I'm only called Alpha when it has to do with work." I nodded, still facing away. Mason softly put his hand on my cheek and turned my head to face him. "One more thing, don't try and hide from me" He said before softly kissing my cheek.

"Of course, I will remember that for next time Mason" I said before standing up from the couch. "I have to leave before I miss my plane home" Mason stood as well, making me notice how tall he was, it was normal for a werewolf to be tall well the males are taller then females. Mason was about half a foot taller then me.  But that's not hard with my height only being 5 foot 5 inches, that's really short for a wolf.
