All of us were at the tree in a matter of minutes after we got a message from Sally. Sally was my best friend and cousin, of course I had lots of other friends but Sally was the best and was almost always mistaken for me because we sort of looked alike, we both had long brownish hair and bright blue eyes, a family trait. I got to the tree first because I lived closer, the next to come was Nick, followed by Sam and Tammy, then Maddy, Emily and Eric then Sally showed up last, trust her to turn up last when she had sent the message and lived with me. We were wondering why Sally wanted all of us to come here and started asking straight away.

"Okay, settle down you lot! God, I can't even catch my breath first" Sally said quickly.

"Sorry Sal, but we wanna know what this is about" I replied.

"Yeah Sal, what is so important that you made us come here?" Emily and Maddy asked. Maddy and Emily are identical twins, although everyone in our group could tell them a part. Maddy's hair was a shade lighter then Emily's and Emily had more green in her eyes and one of her earrings was slightly higher then the other.

"Well, I sorta have a problem" Sally said after a moment of silence.

"What problem?" Nick asked. Nick, Sam and Tammy were triplets. Nick and Sam look a lot alike but you can tell the difference easy and Tammy was almost the complete opposite to them. Nick and Sam had Blonde hair while Tammy had red hair, the boys have brown eyes and Tammy has bluely-green ones.

"Yeah Sally, tell us already" Eric spoke up. Eric was the quite one out of all of us, he had brown hair and had moss green eyes.

"Alright, alright. Just be quite for a minute so I can tell you." Sally replied. We all went quite quickly. "My problem is that my parents want to move"

"Well that's not that bad Sal" Sam said

"That's not all...They want to move across the country" Sally said quietly.

"Why didn't they tell my parents then? They are always talking to each other about this stuff" I asked. Sally looked at me sadly.

"They have been Tay. I guess your parents never told you." I could feel my eyes getting watery. I had grown up with Sally being with me everyday and being my best friend, I didn't want her to leave. "Tay, please don't cry. I'll always be here for you and help you with anything, I promise."

"I don't want you to leave me Sally"

"Neither do we" Nick, Tammy and Sam said at the same time.

"Or us" Maddy and Emily joined in.

"And you can't forget that I don't" Eric joined in as well. Everyone knew that he loved Sally, well everyone but Sally because she couldn't see what was right in front of her. "Hey Sal, can I talk to you alone quickly" Eric asked after a minute. Sally nodded and they walked away. Nick climbed the tree, to be on look out.

"Do you think he is going to tell her?" Emily asked quietly. All of us nodded in answer. "Why do you think he loves her? I mean are they even mates?"

"I don't think so Em. I look if they were Sally would have noticed by now wouldn't she?" Maddy replied.

"Of course she would have noticed. They aren't mates" I answered.

"Then how does he love her? We are only meant to love our mates" Tammy questioned.

"Well you can love someone before you meet them. It's just after that you can't" Sam answered

"Everyone quite their coming back. Eric doesn't look happy" Nick told us from where he was. Nick jumped out of the tree and landed next to Tammy and me, just before Sally and Eric  got to us.

"So Sal, how long until you move? And what pack are you going to?" Sam asked after a moment of silence.

"At least a month and we are going to the Walker pack"

"Oh my god, really?! Their pack is huge and really strong. I can't believe it" Nick said acting like a girl.

"Sally, that's so cool, your so lucky. Maybe your mate is in that pack, you would be really lucky if they were." Maddy shouted. We all shushed her quickly.

"We should all go home it's getting dark out and you all know the rules" Sally said after a few minutes of us talking about her new pack. Everyone left until it was just me and Sally left. We slowly walked though the forest.

"So what did Eric want to talk to you about?" I asked after a minute of silence. Sally sighed

"He told me how he felt about me moving away and what he felt about me"

"And how was that?"

"He said that he didn't want me to leave, that he was really upset that I was going. He said he loved me and that he knows I'm not his mate and that someday, if we did get together, that we would never work out" She sighed again. "I feel the same way as him, I told him that but that I thought it would be better if we stayed friends, so we didn't hurt each other when the time came"

"I'm sorry Sal, I really am" I had stopped walking to look over at her. I noticed something move in the trees, close to the ground. It was big and looked like a wolf. "Umm, Sally we might want to run right now" I said panicking.

"What? Why do we have to run?" Sally looked around panicked. "Taylah we can't run, their all around us. Use the mind link to get your dad, quickly" I nodded

'Dad...' I started but stopped when I heard Sally yelp. I turned to look at her. She had blood running down her arm and a wolf standing in front of her. 'Dad we need your help' I tried again

'Taylah, what's wrong?' My dad replied annoyed.

'Wolfs...werewolves, their all around us'

'Who is with you? How many are there? Where are you?'

' It's just me and Sally. There is about 5 of them and we are in the forest near home. On the west side about a mile away. Please help us'

'Okay, we will be there soon, don't let them touch you'

'Will do. Sally was bit on the arm' I let out a scream when I felt one of the wolfs bite my leg. I fell to the ground.

"Taylah, get up. You can't show them your in pain, quickly get up" Sally told me. "Are they coming?" I nodded.

"They are on their way now, dad didn't sound happy though" I said while getting up.

As soon as I get up, I had a wolf jump at me knocking me onto the ground. I hit my head on the forest floor hard, I had black spots dancing around my vision. The wolf had landed on top of me and was going to bite my neck when it was knocked off by a chocolate brown wolf, it was my dad. The last thing I saw was a black wolf standing above me and Sally sitting next to me, before everything went black. I could feel something running down the side of my head and hear people yelling out to me but I couldn't hear them properly or tell who it was.
