Mason's POV
The next morning everyone was silent, there was no sound other then sticks snapping when stood on and the crunch of the dried leaves. You would tell that everyone was worried or thinking about those that they left behind or if we were about to rescue Taylah without anyone getting hurt. It was nearing 7 o'clock as we ran, we were about 20 minutes away from the house, they would be walking their rounds now nearing the space out side Taylah's window.
I was worried about Taylah, I hadn't heard from her all day. While I was talking to her last night I felt her panic, I wasn't sure why until she told me that she was able to remember some things to do with her father, and how she knew I had helped her every time and what she was doing before he took her this time. I was happy to know that she was starting to remember everything but angry that, that was what she remembered first. Taylah told me it was probably due to the fact that she saw her father just before talking to me.
We were close to the house now, I could see it through the trees. I walked forward slowly while the others stopped behind the trees. I could see Tay through her window, I was relieved that she was okay.

Taylah's POV
I was panicking all day today, I knew Mason was coming to save me, again, but I was getting all of my memories back, all thought out today I have been having flashbacks of every thing, the good and the bad. I remembered the times I have shared with friends and family, with Mason. I remembered the times my father had hurt me, the hospital. It scared me all of what I could remember in one day. I was sitting by the window when I saw something move around the trees. It was Mason, I felt his relief of seeing me, I knew I was meant to talk to him today but with all of the memories I just didn’t have the time to and another factor went along with that too. I was so happy to see him, I wouldn’t wait until I was out of here, the sliver chains were starting to hurt me more, my father had heard me this morning screaming and yelling, he knew what was happening and this was the only way he could stop me getting away until he could take my memory again.
I knew I wasn’t able to tell Mason about the chains through the mind link, so I needed to think of another way. I placed my hand on the window, hoping he would see the chain hanging from my wrist. I lent against the window, I knew that I had a sad look on my face when I heard Mas whimper, I knew he saw the chain. This was a set back in the plan and we both knew it.
I knew that he would come up with a plan, hopefully it was quick. I heard someone walking up the stairs, I quickly looked at the clock on the wall, it was almost 7:30pm. I didn’t know who would be coming at this time, no one normally did, I had been given my dinner already and the lady took away the tray, the guards had come by 30 minutes ago. I took a deep breath to get the persons scent, it was Brent. I looked out the window again, noticing Mason had moved and wasn’t standing by the trees anymore. I started to panic, I heard the foot steps get closer to my door, I could see a wolf walk towards the edge of the trees slowly, it was Jess. I could hear Brent unlocking my door, I looked straight at Jess, hoping she saw I was scared. The door opened and I quickly turned around, I saw Brent standing there was a needle in his hand, it had a white liquid in it. I moved back closer to the window, I was pressed up against it now.
"What is that?" I asked in a small voice. I knew the wolves outside in the trees could hear me.
"This is what will take away your memories again" Brent replied smirking.
"It's not like I can tell anyone where I am anyway, you know I have a silver chain around my arm"
"True, but this is just to make sure, and I'm sure you would like to walk around outside this room. This will help you do that"
