Waking up I noticed that Mason was still asleep under me. I looked over at the clock, only to see it was 4:30 am, no wonder he was still asleep it was very early. I wonder why I'm awake now, just as I wondered that I heard a knocking sound on my window. I was tempted to get up and walk over there to see what it was but I didn't because that means I would have to stay in bed longer. I decided that it would be best to wake Mason up and get him to see what it was. I shock his arm, slowly waking him up.
"Mason, wake up" I whispered.
"What's the time?" He asked sounding close to sleep.
"4:30"
"And why did you wake me up this early?" He sounded more awake now.
"I heard something hit the window and I don't know what it was. I wanted to find out." I said just as there was another knock on the window. Mason slowly sat up and stretched, he walked over to the window and opened it. Just as he opened the window, he was hit in the head by a small stone. I quietly laughed as he rubbed his forehead, looking out the window confused.
"Taylah?" We heard a voice call softly. I knew that voice anywhere, it was the wolf that caused me to have to stay in bed, Brent. I looked at Mason scared, he saw the look on my face and came over to me.
"Who is out there Taylah?" He whispered very softly.
"Brent, the wolf that beat me" I whispered, with tears running down my face.
"How does he know where you are? And who?"
"I don't know, I never told him anything about me" Mason was wiping his thumb across my check to get rid of the tears.
"Please don't cry Tay. I'll get him to go away." Mason said as Brent called out my name again. "Call your dad and get him in here" I nodded. Mason walked back over to the window as I told my dad to come to my room.
"Taylah" Brent called again.
"I'm sorry but you must have the wrong house, there is no one here named Taylah." Mason called down to him. My dad walked into the room, I made a sign to tell him to be quite and come over to the bed.
"I'm not stupid, I knew who the girl was before I hit her" I froze as he said those words. " I know more about her as well, like how your in her room and that she is sitting in her bed right now scared to death." I felt my dad rubbing his hand up and down my back.
"I'm sorry, but you have that wrong, I am the only person in this room and there is no one named Taylah here. I think you should leave now." Mason told him, turning away from the window.
"Fine then, but tell her that I will get her one day and soon. Your future Luna wouldn't make it long Alpha" Brent called before Mason could shut the window fully. Once the window was closed Mason walked over and sat next to me, pulling me into a hug.
"Don't be scared Taylah, we would let anything happen to you" My dad said next to us.
"How do you know that? I'm always causing trouble for everyone around me. We don't know what is going to happen" I said.
"Taylah that is not true"
"Yes, it is. If not why am I always the one that is there when wolfs attack and they go after me. I must have done something. I was the one to tell Sally to go through the woods with me and we both got hurt."
"You are not the reason, lone wolfs attack anyone. And that was months ago, it doesn't matter now"
"Yes it does, it caused you to think you were a bad Alpha, you blamed yourself for something I caused. I'm the only one to blame for me hitting my head and being in a coma for a month and a half, the reason why you a giving the Alpha tittle over to Billy when you love the job and know he wants to find his mate first. I am to blame for all of it dad." As I spoke I noticed Mason freeze when I said the part about being in a coma, making me realize that I had never told him about it. " And I am the reason I am lying here now, the reason for letting myself be beaten."
