Taylah's pov

The pain kept getting worse and worse. I was screaming still as the pain got worse I felt Mason's hand on the side of my face, I guess he was trying to help me it worked a little, it was making me focus on him instead of the growing pain inside my head. The more I focused on Mason the less I noticed the pain. I could feel the pain going away, I guess who ever was trying to get in my head had stopped. I slowly opened my eyes as soon as I didn't feel any pain, I noticed that all of my friends were standing behind Mason. I gave them a small smile as I saw the worry on all of their faces, I hated that I had made them worry.

"Taylah, are you okay now?" Mason asked interrupting my thoughts.

"Yeah, I feel better. My head only hurts a little now" I nodded

"What happened? You just fell to the ground"

"It felt like someone was trying to get into my head, someone who I don't share a mind link with. It hurt so much" I whispered, feeling tears coming to my eyes. I looked up at Mason. "Do you think it could have been Brent?" I asked scared.

"No, I don't think it was him. He wouldn’t try something this soon. Even after last night"

I nodded before getting him to help me stand up. Once I was back on my feet I swayed a little but stopped when Mason put his arm around my waist. I smiled up at him in thanks, he smiled back at me. We followed everyone back into the kitchen, where Sally, Tammy, Emily and Maddy had started to cook lunch. It was normally me who cooks when they are all over but my guess is that they wanted to surprise me with cooking it themselves. I smiled when a plate of bacon, eggs and toast was sat in front of me, my favourite.  I started to eat my food when my phone started to ring, I sighed and answered the phone after finishing the mouthful I had.

"Hello Taylah, you know it's bad to have people lie for you"  a voice said after I had said hello.

"Who is this?" I asked

"You know who it is, how could you forget me so soon?!" The voice laughed, I suddenly recognised the voice. It was Brent.

"How did you get my number?" I asked scared

"I told you I know a lot about you Taylah, you wouldn't like to get on my bad side" He laughed.

"O-okay"

"Was that fear I just heard?"

"No, it wasn't" I said quickly

"Just remember not to get on my bad side Taylah and that I will be coming for you soon"  He said before hanging up. I must have looked pale and scared so everyone was looking at me worried again. I slowly took deep breaths in and out for a minute before looking at everyone again, giving them a small smile.

"Taylah, who was that? And don’t even think about lying to us" Sally asked.

"It...it was...was Brent" I whispered scared, really scared. I felt Mason stiffen next to me and put an arm around me, pulling me towards him. I hide my face on his chest so the others couldn’t see the fear in my eyes. Mason rubbed his hand up and down my back before talking.

"What did he want?" You could tell he wasn’t happy about the idea of Brent even talking to me.

"Just to remind me that I shouldn’t get on his bad side and that he will coming for me soon. I'm scared Mas" I answered as Mason continued to run his hand up and down my back.

"Don’t be scared Tay, you know I would never let anyone hurt you" I nodded but kept my head on his chest.

After finishing all of our food everyone decided that we should just stay in today and watch some movies. We spent most of the day sitting on the couch, watching movies and eating popcorn, it wasn’t until 6:00 pm did the others go home. Even after they all left me and Mason stayed on the couch watching movies. We didn’t move until we heard the front door open and Billy call out. I jumped up out of my seat next to Mason, only to feel dizzy and fall back down onto the couch. I hit Mason on the arm when I heard him laughing at me.
