I'm So Sorry Wes

"I guess he likes you." Jenny said as I took off my knee pads.

"He can like me all he wants but I'm not into him." I said.

"Why do you not like him? How do you not like him is the question?" Sav asked me.

"Yeah, he's British, smart, cute, hot, athletic, and he's HOT!" Jenny said to me and I rolled my eyes.

"I need to get going, I'll see you guys all later." I said then closed my gym locker and locked it then shrugged on my backpack then walked out of the locker room.

"Hey Tessa." Karson said with a smile.

"Hey Karson, what are you doing here?" I asked him.

"I came to talk to you." Karson said to me.

"Hey Karson, were you waiting for me?" Alexis asked as she walked right into our conversation.

"Um I was-" Karson started to say but I cut him off.

"I'll talk to you later." I said then kept walking to see Wes texting as he leaned up against the wall.

"C'mon, were going to decide where we're going for our date." I said to him as I grabbed his hand and dragged him.

"Okay, I was thinking we could go watch a movie then get some dinner afterwards or dinner before?" Wes asked.

"Sure, I'll tell you which movie we can both watch and not get in an argument about." I said as I opened my car door.

"I don't care which movie we watch you can pick the movie but I'll pick the dinner." Wes said and nodded as I started the engine.

"Knock knock." I said as I opened the door and he put something under his pillow.

"Hey, what's up?" Wes asked and I sat down next to the pillow and I took something from under it and it was a picture.

"Who's this little boy?" I asked as I pointed to the little boy.

"That's me, the other little boy is William. He's my twin brother that passed away last year..." Wes said and I hugged him and he sighed.

"How did he pass away?" I asked softly.

"He worked at a bakery as a part-time job and the bakery caught on fire and he burned to death." Wes said and a tear dropped onto the piece of paper.

"I'm so sorry Wes, I didn't know." I said to him.

"I had to get out of England so that's why I took the scholarship. If my brother wasn't dead then I would still be in England." Wes told me and I took the piece of paper.

"He looks like you." I said and kissed his cheek.

"I miss him so much." Wes said and wiped the tears off his face.

"I'm so sorry Wes." I said then hugged him again.

"Mom, can I come in?" I asked as I knocked on the door.

"Sure honey, c'mon in." I heard my mom say and I opened the door and entered.

"Mom, do you know when it's Wes' birthday?" I asked and she thought and dug through a filing cabinet and found it. My mom's a lawyer so she does a lot of filing.

I opened it and saw the date, June 28th.

"Did you know his brother passed away last year?" I asked.

"Yeah, I wanted him to stay with us to have the feeling of having a brother again. Well I hope having little brothers is okay. But your like his sister, Kaden and Thomas are just his little entertainers." My mom told me.

"Do you have his brother's file?" I asked and she nodded and she pulled out the whole family.

I pulled out Will's he passed away September 21st.

"Mom, Will's 1 year death mark is tomorrow." I said and she sighed and she took off her reading glasses then rubbed her temples.

"I know Hun, how about you, Sav, and the boys go and take him go karting or something like that." My mom suggested as my dad walked into the room.

"Hi sweetie, hey babe." My dad said then kissed my forehead and kissed my mom.

"Hi honey, just take him go karting then the beach and then go get a bite to eat at the boardwalk." My mom said.

"Okay, goodnight." I said then left the room.

"Hey guys, we're going go karting then to the beach and go grab a bite to eat at the boardwalk tomorrow." I said as I walked into the family room.

"Okay, so we need our swimsuits?" Kaden asked as he turned his controller.

"Yup, this is what we're doing tomorrow instead of the movie and dinner Wes." I said to him.

"Alright, Thomas get the mystery box." Wes directed Thomas and I smiled then walked up the stairs to my room.

"Ahh!" I screamed as I drove Thomas around the track while he was laughing his tiny head off.

We crossed the finish line and beat Kaden and Wes and I got out and hung onto the railing trying to catch my breath.

"You guys have to pay for dinner!" Thomas teased and Wes lifted him onto his shoulders and I smiled.

"Let's head to the beach now, c'mon Sav." I said.

"Wait! We need a group picture first." Sav said and we all lined up against the car line and the worker took a picture of us.

"Send that to me." I said and she sent it to me and I posted it onto Instagram.

Me and Thomas were the winners of the race just saying. Sorry @ Wes_Adams. I have proof from @ Savannah_Harman!

I posted it and smiled at the picture and we all then hopped into my car to head to the beach. We all got ready in the bathrooms and I went out and went into the water and the next thing I know Wes is tackling me into the water.

I grab Thomas and he is laughing his little mind out as I throw him into the water. Kaden, Sav, Thomas, and I team up and tackle Wes and we all tumble into the water.

We were having so much fun and I haven't seen Thomas and Kaden so happy except for when they beat Rainbow Road for the first time ever.

But this happy and excited vibe was different from the rest.
