TESSA'S POV-
"Hi Coach, I want to continue playing soccer." I said."Tessa, it's not that simple. Tryouts were last week and I can't just kick someone out." Coach Link said to me.
Then Celeste walked in with a broken foot and my mouth dropped.
"Hi Coach Link, I broke my foot so I can't play. Oh, hi Tessa." Celeste said.
"Hey Celeste, what happened?" I asked.
"I was on my bike then Madison pushed me and I fell and broke it." Celeste said.
"Celeste, you're our forward. How are we going to fix this?" Coach Link asked.
"Didn't Tessa play forward? Why doesn't she take my spot until I get better." Celeste said to us.
"How long are you out?" I asked.
"4 weeks, but then I have physical therapy. I don't know how long that's going to take." Celeste said.
"You got lucky Tessa, practice after school tomorrow." Coach Link said and I smiled and left his office.
Better go home and get my soccer things ready.

"So, your continuing soccer?" Sav asked and I nodded."You'll have to quit volleyball then!" Sav freaked.
"Oh my gosh... I totally forgot." I said and she face palmed herself.
"How could you forget? We can't lose you, your our team captain and our best server." Sav said and I plopped on my bed.
"Sav, you need to be the leader of the team and teach them to be the best that they can be. I'll be at games if I can but if I'm not there then I'm there in spirit." I said and she nodded then wiped a tear off her face.
"I'm very emotional." Sav said then started laughing as I handed her a Kleenex.
"I love you." I said then hugged her.
"Love you too, but why are you playing soccer again?"
"I'm going to get better college scholarships if I play soccer. I also am better at soccer then volleyball. Also because the Women's National Team maybe have invited me to play for their team." I said.
"Oh... Wait what?!" Sav freaked and I started laughing.
"Yeah last year before you know what, I got offered a spot on the National Team and I kind of want that offer again." I said to her.
"You need to train before tomorrow, Tess." Sav said and I nodded.
"Wes agreed to train me before I head off to my first practice." I said to her.
There was a knock on the door and Wes walked in.
"Hey Tessa, you wanna start training now?" Wes asked and I nodded and got up then grabbed some workout clothes and changed in the bathroom.
"I have to go now, bye Tess." Sav said then strolled out of my room.
"You ready?" Wes asked and I nodded and we went into the backyard.
"What is all this?" I asked as we got into the backyard. It was full of obstacle course equipment like soccer nets, cones, soccer balls, and a rope climbing course.
"I found all this at the back of your garage." Wes said.
"Did my mom tell you to use all of this stuff?" I asked and he nodded.
"Yup, I wish I found them more used up but it's fine." Wes said and I shrugged.
"Remember that this is the opportunity for you to show me that your not better than me." Wes said with a smirk and I rolled my eyes.
