Chapter 16

Charlie

Two months had passed and things were quiet, like Dominik said i had no contact with anyone but Jace, he was my lifeline, my everything. I had missed two of my siblings birthdays but Jace had carried gifts to them for me, he said my dad always gave him a stern look but never said anything.

We were aloud to talk to each other and aside from the hidden make out sessions, i couldn't so much as hold his hand, but seeing him was enough.

I finished up on my sit ups heading to the shower, i stood there for a good two hours before getting out, when i did i checked my phone and saw a message from Jace.

After that he stopped texting, i had really upset him.

Hey i'm sorry don't be mad.

There was still no reply, i looked at the time and rushed to get ready for classes, i ran down stairs straight into the kitchen only to find a note, that simply read you're walking today.

Walking? More like running.

I grabbed up some random food stuffed it in my bag and ran out the house, i ran down the side walk thanking god that the school was so close, i was late but if i ran fast enough i could get into class before the late bell sounded. I dashed through the door and down the hall, bursting into class a second before the bell sounded, all the assholes started applauding.

"Congratulations on making it in time Charlie, but since it was still the late bell you may answer the first question, what is Darwin's theory of the origin of species?" asked the tall lanky teacher, who's name i just couldn't bother to remember.

I stood straight and inhaled a deep breath "Darwin's theory of species origination says the natural selection chooses organisms that posses variable and heritable traits and that are best suited for their environments."

"Oh look you're smart and you can run very fast good for you."

I rolled my eyes and headed to my seat in the back, i could hear the whispers and sinkers of those annoying students that i had been sharing a class with, the thing is at our school they kind of separated the high profile kids from the normal ones, so when i joined their class, they took the opportunity to make fun of me, so i took a mental note of all their faces and planned for what i would do to them when my punishment was over.

I sunk into mg chair and closed in my eyes, i couldn't wait to see Jace.

I stood outside Jaces class door waiting for him to come out, it was quiet for a bit before the door burst open poring out a bunch of loud teenagers, my friends being no exception, i spotted Jace, he was laughing at a joke that Peter the comedian of the group said. He looked at me and the smile on his face widened so much his eyes disappeared, he waved everyone off before coming over to me.

"Hey."

"Hey babe,lets go."

He followed me out the school doors and went straight to the back of the school, i pulled him into a kiss as soon as we were out of sight making him let out a moan.
