Chapter 55

Alec 

I walked into my office and Adriana followed me in "where did you send Nathan with that boy?!"

"Go and get ready we need to leave."

"No tell me where they are going!" she said stomping down her feet.

"It would be too risky so please just go and get ready and stop wasting time!" i said grabbing stuff up from my desk stuffing them into a gym bag.

"No tell-" with out a second thought i pulled out my gun and shot her right between the eyes cutting her off, if she wanted to get her self in trouble that was her business but i wasn't going to let her put my boy's life in danger too.

I ran into the room and packed another bag with clothes before going into the room that i kept Cliff in he looked up at me with surprise as i chucked one of the bags at him, i ran over to the room next to his unlocking the door, Mex watched me with a scowl on her face before running past me into her fathers arms.

I walked out the room pulling Cliff by his arm heading down the stairs, i pushed them into the truck and threw the bag in before speeding off, Cliff opened his mouth to ask me something but i shook my head and he just sunk back in his seat.

I didn't need to be asked questions when i was focused on saving our lives.

We drove down the road at full speed when John recognized the house pulling up to it, i told him  to stay put before running inside looking for Alec, i ran around checking downstairs before running up and stopping at a office, i pushed open the door to see someone dead on the ground.

I stooped down and turned the body to see Adriana dead because of a shot to her head, the blood was warm and now began to dry which meant they had left not too long ago, but it was too much time between us for us to catch him, fuck.

I walked out the office and into a room across from it seeing a picture with him and a woman making me frown, she was at their mansion in the woods, which meant he was one of them, all this time he was an Albanian, i trusted him to be around my family and he was my enemy.

I knocked over the picture and stormed out the room into another, the bed was rustled, i looked around the room and found a brown rubber ban that had black lines on it, since we were kids Cliff always had it on and would sting it against his wrist when he was upset, Alec had him and he wouldn't fight him because once again he was in love with him.

I walked out the room and headed down the stairs going back to John who was fidgeting in his seat, he looked up at me when i got in "did you get them.

I shook my head "come on lets get you home."

We pulled up to the red mansion after two hours of driving, this was where we were going to live from now on seeing how most of our other locations were attacked, Lucian would also be staying here while i found somewhere else for my other people to stay.

I walked inside with him at my side, glancing at him every once in a while as we made our way up to my room, i watched as he looked around before his mouth formed into a frown and he walked out the room, i curiously followed him as he moved through room after room.

He seemed to be getting upset so i moved closer o him and had to stop when he suddenly spun around giving me a skeptical look.

"What's wrong John?" i said studying his face.

"Where is mom and everyone else i thought you were bringing me here because they were also here." i just stood there staring at him in disbelief.

He didn't remember anything did he, he looked at me waiting for an answer but i didn't know what to say to him, i mean i knew i had to tell him about his mother, but Joshua and Justin, did his mind blank it out just because of the way it affected him and if that was the case, how would telling him all this now affect him?

I squeezed his shoulders and moved back to our room placing him to sit on the bed, he scanned my face looking for something but i kept it blank, hiding all my emotions, i wanted to cry scream and just go on a rampage because of what he was going through but i couldn't worry him not now.

I sat down looking at his face waiting fro his reaction after i told him everything, but instead of breaking down his face just turned Stoic, he got off the bed and walked out the room onto the balcony, i watched as he stared out into the field, what just happened?
