We just arrived at school, mom drove me. I guess you could say it was fun but, I wish I'd be able to drive on my own. My mom handed me my long stick as I opened the side of my door. My mom helped me walk up to where Colby was. My heart started to pound I literally felt it bursting out of my chest."Hi Lindsey." I heard Colby say.
I took in a deep breath.
"Hey." I managed to say and try to be confident.
It took every ounce of strength inside of me not to jump in circles and attack my mom while smashing some random guitar on the ground. Okay, maybe I'm little excited.
"Alright, bye, sweetie." My mom said kissing my cheek.
"Love you mom." I said smiling in the direction of her voice.
"Love you too honey! Have fun you too." She said as I heard her footsteps head towards the car.
I heard Colby sigh. At that moment I wanted to know what Colby looked like.
"Would you mind if I touch you face, so I know what you look like?" I asked.
Great Lindsey you totally lost your chances on being normal.
"Sure." He said.
My heart leaped, usually people would act disgusted.
"Wait. Really?" I asked.
"If that's the only way you'll have an idea of what I look like, then yeah sure go ahead." He said placing a hand on my shoulder.
I felt a grin spread across my face. I put my hands on his face. I heard him giggle. I now had a little idea of what he looks like. Dimples, long eye lashes, and hair that sweeps to the right.
"What color is your hair?" I asked unsure.
"Brown, just like yours." He said tapping my shoulder with every word.
"Nice, what color are your eyes?" I asked.
"Blue." He said.
I could feel his eyes on me even though I can't see. So I did what any normal girl would do at the age of 14 starting their freshman year, I blushed.
"Are you blushing?!" Colby said.
"I don't know. Am I?" I said smiling feeling myself blushing harder.
I heard him gasp. "You are!" He said.
Colby then squished me into a hug.
I smiled, he was holding my arms to tight so I couldn't hug back. We then heard the first bell ring."Ready to go?" I asked fixing my grip on my stick.
"Sure am!" Colby said fixing his hat.
"Nice hat." I said with a smirk.
Colby nudged me and I just laughed.
Colby helped me the entire day and then, when lunch time came he even sat next to me at lunch! That never happens. I was so happy. I could do a happy dance right now. Anyhow, Colby has like four pages of math to do while all I have to do is read. I picked out my favorite book and started reading it. Again. I usually have Siri on my phone read something's to me. My mom helped me program it. I can't wait to see Colby tomorrow.
