Fun and Games

I fiddled with my thumbs as I waited impatiently, while my mom was putting on her makeup.

"Mom, hurry up." I groaned.

"Just a second honey." She said softly.

I just sighed and started rubbing my temples, I really want to see Colby. I want to talk about what we will be able to do once I get my eye surgery.

"Alright, I'm almost ready." My mom said.

I half laughed.

"Almost" I said.

"Yeah, yeah, be great full you even get to go to school." She said putting her makeup boxes away.

"Okay let's go." She said.

I picked up my stick and stood up. I followed my mom down the hallway and towards the very extravagant 'transportation to education' also know as the car. The truth is I don't mind going to school, the only reason why I don't like it is because of all the stinkin homework. Other than that life is good.

*Skip driving to school*

Once my mom stopped the car I immediately heard someone open the car door for me.

"Well hello sunflower." Colby said.

I just rolled my eyes and slapped him on the back of his head.

"Bye mom, love you!" I yelled.

"Love you too!" She yelled back.

"What was that for?" Colby asked.

"For calling me sunflower, idiot." I said jokingly.

"Oh, just because you can't see doesn't mean I won't attack you." Colby said trying not to laugh.

"You wouldn't." I said.

"Oh yeah." Colby said.

Before I knew it, my stick was on the ground and I was over Colby's shoulder.

"Heheh." Colby said in a weird voice.

"Bolby Crock, put me down!" I yelled laughing innocently.

"Bolby Crock?!" Colby yelled. "You asked for it."

I then felt him jolt forward. He was running. COLBY WAS RUNNING.

"AHHH!" I screeched.

I started to hear him panting. He set me down and I could feel him smiling down at me.

"Have you learned your lesson miss brooks?" Colby asked.

"Probably not." I said slapping him on the head again.

Colby just laughed. Colby helped me walk back to where he 'softly' dropped my stick.

"Here ya go ma' lady." Colby said handing me my stick.

"Thank you royal huntsman." I said.

"Let's go weirdo." He said.

"Yeah, sunflower." I said in a weird voice.

"Hey, well at least I look pertay." He said.

I just mentally face palmed.

"Your an idiot." I laughed.

"So an idiot and a sunflower, nice com-bo-nation." He said pronouncing each word with diction.

"Wait we need to talk during lunch." Colby said suddenly getting serious.

"Okay." I said nodding my head.

Thoughts rushed into my brain. What did he want to talk about?
