The next day I had to go to my 'Physical Therapy' I don't even need it! The only reason I go is to test my senses. My mom takes me to Physical Therapy every Tuesday. I guess you could say I hate Tuesdays, well hates a strong word. Let's just say I really hate Tuesdays. I held down the home button to my phone.

"Yes, Lindsey." Siri spoke.

"Can you please play sleeping with sirens?" I asked.

"Which song?" Siri asked in her robotic voice.

"My favorite one." I said shrugging to myself.

I programmed, well my mom programmed Siri to know what I like and all that stuff. I put in my earphones  as I slid into the passenger seat of my moms car holding tightly onto my stick.

"One message from Calbay." Siri said.

I laughed. It's not that hard to say Colby is it?! I'm dieing.

"Hi! Is this Linsey?" Siri spoke.

I sighed and pulled my phone up to my mouth.

"Hey! Yes it's Lindsey." I said.

"How are you?"

"I'm good, heading to physical therapy." I sighed.

"That sucks." He said.

"Look I'm sorry but I don't want to use my cellular and I'm gonna loose wifi since we are leaving soon so I'll talk to you later?" I spoke into my phone.

"Yeah, okay that's fine. Hope you have a nice time. Bye." Siri spoke for Colby.

"Bye Colbs." I said.

"Bye lil's." He said.

I continued listing to my music. My mom then got in to the drivers seat and took off.

*Skip car ride*

Once we got to my Physical therapist he seated us in a small room. I swayed my stick back and forth to know where I was going. Mr. Harper sat me down in some sort of chair. My mom sat down behind me. I could hear her rubbing her legs with her small fragile hands.

"Miss. Brooks." Mr. Harper said.

"Yes sir." I said.

"It's very nice to meet you. I'm glad you could make it. We are gonna give you some tests just to check out your senses." Mr. Harper said.

"It's very nice to meet you as well. I'm very happy to start working with you." I said with a smile.

"Alright, if you won't mind following me over here to the first station." The man said helping me up and leading me to another chair with a desk.

"You may sit down please." He said and handed me some ear phones.

"I would like you to tell me when you hear the birds chirping." He said.

I slipped on the earphones.

"Tell me when your ready." Mr. Harper said.

I took in a deep breath and sighed.

"Ready." I said.

After all those weird tests we were then asked to sit in a waiting room and you can guess my mom and I sat there for two hours. Finally we heard our victory call.

"Mrs. Brooks." A lady called her voice gentle and sweet like honey.

"That's us." My mom said.

We both stood up, my mom then handed me my stick. I swayed it back and forth as my mom held my hand tightly.

"Please sit here." The lady instructed.

I obliged and sat down with some help. Mr. Harper came in moments later shuffling with papers.

"This is unbelievable, I'm so happy to be able to tell you this wonderful news." Mr. Harper said.

"What is it?" My mom asked softly.

"Miss. Brooks." Mr.Harper said picking up my hand gently.

"Since you have astonishing senses, we might be able to do surgery on your eyes to let you able to see again." He said.

A smile stretched across my face.

"Really?" I whispered my voice cracking at the end.

"Really." He whispered back.

"THANK YOU!" I yelled tears of happiness streaming down my face.

I jumped up and hugged my therapist. This is truly the best day of my life. I have to tell Colby. Once we left and scheduled our next appointment I asked Siri to call Colby.

"Colby! Guess what!" I nearly yelled into the phone.

"Well hello to you to Lindsey." He said chuckling.

"Guess! What!" I said.

"What?" He asked.

"I might me able to fricken see your face!" I said.

"What?! You will be able to see?!" He said excitedly into the phone.

"Yes!" I yelled.

"I'm so happy for you!" Colby yelled.

I wanted to scream at him 'I love you' but that would be weird. The thought of seeing Colby this week made my heart melt like butter. Colby was so sweet.

"Wait. Are you going to the dance next month? In November?" Colby asked.

"I don't know... I've never been to one." I said.

"Think about it." Colby said softly.

"Okay I will." I said.

"I got to go. Have a nice night Lindsey." Colby said into the phone.

"Bye Colby, sweet dreams."

"Goodnight, sunflower."
