London.
I loved this place. I am quarter English so I felt like I belonged here weirdly enough. My dad has ditched me to go to his first meeting and we didn't even have breakfast yet. I was still jetlagged and tired. First thing that popped into the hotel room was Marshall. He looked less tanned than he usually was but that was because of the shitty weather here.
"Marshmellow." I say hugging him. Marshall was like my big brother and he was annoying as hell but he was still my brother in a sense.
"You guys made it. Anna left last week and now you guys are here."
"LA misses your large head." I say and he laughs sitting down. "Dad went out already. Whats on the plan for today?" I ask and he chuckles. "I think I need to get my liver checked. I have drank so much over the past 8 months."
"You've been out here 8 months now. Wow."
"How are things with Romeo?" He asks and I shrug
"He is mad at me. Few days ago we had a fight and he is ignoring me. I told him I'm leaving to London for 5 days with dad he didn't reply. All I saw was 'seen'.
"What did you do Freya?" He asks
"I read his text message and then wanted to leave because that whole day was a misery anyway. He didn't let me leave so I had to physically make him let go."
"You kicked him in the balls. Freya." Marshall shakes his head and I shrug. "I know I shouldn't have."
"Yes. Thats a low blow." He says and I roll my eyes.
"Are you not gonna ask how Emily is? Its been 8 months and she told me she spoke to you 3 times." I say
"I know she is fine otherwise you would tell me this."
"True. Anyway, she isn't dating anyone. Unlike you." I say looking at him. He just frowns waiting for me to elaborate. "I see you on social media sites. Your room mates though. Wow. Stefan is just a delight to look at. Anna told me you and Alex were quite cozy."
"Nothing good comes from you and Anna making peace I see." He eats my breakfast.
"On saturdays we have parties. Come along." He says and I smile. "Yay. I will." I tell him about my idea about the charity event im doing. "Probably by the time you're back."
"I might continue my studies here for more than a year. Might even work here. I can qualify as an English lawyer and in LA."
"Wow. You seriously are going to do that?"
"I might."
"Don't you miss life back home."
"I do.... But, I made some amazing friends here. I got my life together in the space of 8 months. In LA i kept changing ideas about everything. Too many distractions."
"I'll change your mind. Don't worry."
"Okay." He rolls his eyes
"My friend is meeting me today. Were going shopping and for food." I tell him. "Tell me great food places."

Yasmine was my friend from the time I modelled for my moms clothes in London. We became friends instantly but she just lived in London and didn't come America very often.
"You have changed so much." She says and I laugh.
"Why?"
"Well, you have short hair. You have gone I think a little bit fuller on your thighs. Look at you..."
