Freya's POV
"Take my arm." Joey says and I nod taking a deep breath. "I don't know why he would call me..." I mumble to him before we walk down the aisle. "I don't wanna ruin this for Aunt Mckaila." I say smiling through my misery as I walk in my white dress next to Joey down before parting ways at the aisle. I stand next to Emily and Maliya and later Victoria joins us.
"What the hell happened?" Emily asks
"I was speaking to Romeo... He's drunk and confessed something." I whisper back before the ceremony starts. "Confessing what?"
"I couldn't tell what he was saying..." I sigh and look up at our back garden that once again transferred into a beautiful wedding ceremony. "Take a breath babe..." Emily says and I nod. "She looks beautiful." I say watching Mckaila and gramps walking down. He shakes Troys hand after kissing Mckailas cheek.
I couldn't concentrate for shit really... I was thinking about Romeo calling me drunk at 2 in the afternoon? I put on a bright face and smile for the cameras but deep down I felt shit.
It was a small intimate wedding. My family members and some friends were present. Emily and Marshall couldn't stop touching eachother. This must be a romantic place to be with your other half. Noah and Rachel were dancing around and I was surprised. Nicole didn't show up? Rachel said she was done? I didn't have the energy in me to actually care. My phone keeps buzzing through the whole party and I cave in. Walking to the bathroom of the second event were at, I sit down at the side of the bathroom and sigh.
"Freya..." Romeo says and I bite my lower lip. The past week I kept him on a distance. "What do you want from me?" I ask in a soft voice.
"I need to see you. Look, I haven't done it. I couldn't." He says and I frown. "Where are you."
"Im outside. Mike is my ride." He says and I sigh. I hang up and walk out of my house to see Mike sitting in the car. Romeo was leaning on his car looking under dressed to this event with jeans and an olive green bomber jacket. He looked tired. He pushed a beanie over his messy curles staring at me as he stands up straight.
"You look beautiful." He says stepping closer. I step back still having the image of him and Bianca last night. Just because he's still drunk today doesn't mean shit to me.
"Why are you drunk at 5 in the evening?" I ask and he sighs. "I've sobered up. Heard vodka kills the hamgover."
"Makes it worse actually." I say and he sighs. "Why did you come here?" I ask and bites my lower lip. "Had to clarify that when I called you whatever I said wasn't true. I can't even remember what I said."
"You said last night your ex came over and one thing lead to the other. I can't do this, going back inside." I say turning around keeping the tears in check. "No please," Romeo grabs my arm and retrains me from moving ahead.
"I couldn't cheat on you ever Freya, you know it."
"Were not together. Remember?"
"Yes we are. Stop this please."
"I can't and you need to just leave me alone." I say annoyed and upset as he still holds onto me. "Let go Romeo."
"Whats going on?" Dylan asks walking outside. "Leave it Dylan." I say not trying to cause trouble.
"For once I'd like to see your family minding their own business." Romeo snaps letting me go. "Well, I'd like to see you leave." Dylan says walking up to us. I quickly push him back and look at Romeo.
"Just go." I say and he sighs getting into Mikes car. I get my hands off Dylan looking back at him and his suit.
"What the hell Dylan. You don't need to fight my battles." I sigh annoyed walking back in. "Everyones wondering where you went." He says and I walk back inside sitting down. I hope nobody really sees my mood. Emily looks at me and I tell her I'm fine as I stuff my face to forget everything. We listen to the sweet speech everyone gave including Spencer my mom and Sean. The twins also got up and so did Noah to say his bit. But really I wasn't listening. Why would Romeo see Bianca a week after we broke up? I look around at everyone dancing. The evening passes and I almost drown in misery and happiness for Mckaila at the same time.
