Emily's POV
Its been a very long 3 days in London after Marshall graduation and all the celebrations. We still did not get time to talk or even spend time together. On our last day, I was not ready for another goodbye. Marshall was coming home the following week since he still had his whole life here. I heard he was planning on actually moving here. It twisted my stomach and I hated hearing it but, I felt as if I could not do it. I could not do another year without him. Even these three days, at the party with all his new friends he looked like he was very comfortable here and happy. I did not want to ruin that. It was awkward. I mean I over heard Freya and Dylan talking about the girl Alex and how she liked Marshall. I saw the way she looked at him. It was the way he looked at me. Eventhough, I wanted to hate her she seemed very sweet. A little clingy but nice. So did the rest of his friends. Freya and Stefan flirted back and forth and they got a little too close at the party but I think she was just having a good time.
''Hey, you up?'' I hear. I push my duvet from my face and look at Marshall. ''Great.'' He says and I chuckle and look at him. ''Get dressed.''
''Why?'' I ask rubbing my eyes.
''Lets go for breakfast before you flight back home.'' He says.
''Okay.'' I say and he smiles closing the door. I get up and look at my phone. 9 in the morning. Freya walks into my room and I look at her.
''Emily, I am in trouble.'' She says and I look at her. Her face was serious so I just took it serious. Usually, she would say shit like my dress isnot as nice as I thought or shit like that.
''What is wrong?'' I ask. She shuts the door and gives me her phone. ''Someone send me this... Its on one of the blogs.'' She says and I look at the picture of Stefan and her sitting together. He had his arm around her and his hand on her thigh. ''I was so drunk, it did not feel like how it looks. It felt like he was just sitting next to me.'' She says panicking. ''I am so stupid. Romeo is so going to break up with me after this.''
''No, he won't. Its not like he reads the blogs or anything? Why would he even know.''
''You're right.'' She says suddenly. ''I am stressing for no reason.''
''I need to get dressed.''
''Were not leaving in another couple of hours.'' She says and I nod.
''I know. I am just going to breakfast with Marshall.''
''You guys finally getting back together, I mean after the way you guys were hugging it looked like you were together already.'' She says. I roll my eyes and get in the shower. ''Don't steal my shoes.'' I say knowing my outfit was laid out for today.
''I won't.'' She says.
I get out the shower feeling sick in my stomach. I wanted to be together with Marshall. He was the one. I was so sure of it. But, things changed in the last year. I grew out of my shyness a little and I made some new friends. Maybe he would not like the new me? I get into the jumpsuit that had no sleeves and was shorts above my knees. I liked the olive green colour of it too. Along with my heels, I head out of my room. Marshall was leaning on the wall looking at his phone.
''I'm ready..'' I say and he looks up.
''You look nice.'' He says and I smile. ''You too.'' He wore simple white tshirt and jeans. But he still looked nice. He always did. His hair, his face. I missed it all. We walk down the stairs in silence. I don't think anyone was even home. We walk through the kitchen where Dylan and Noah were sat throwing peanuts at eachother.
''Laters.'' Marshall says grabbing his bomber jacket off a chair. ''Where you guys going?'' Noah asks.
''Can we come?'' Dylan smiles knowing he wasn't going to come.
