"El. Please be merciful. Please." I turned to Danielle. "Dani, no makeup please. I'm gonna hate you more than Justin Bieber and that's saying something."
"Look, I'll give you a little." I groaned and glared at her. "Organiser's orders, girl." She put some powder on. I've no idea what it is, my eyes were shut and contorting into any face I could get. "You're worse than Liam," Dani sighed. I raised an eyebrow, opened an eye.
"What?"
"XFactor. I ran in on the makeup person doing Liam and he wouldn't stop moving his face- STOP IT, ANNABELLE!"
"I'm about to-" I sneezed. "There. Proof. One last thing before you two take things a step too far on me. If you make me angry, Liam and Louis'll have to answer to me because I don't see you that often."
"You wouldn't touch a hair on Lou's head, not how he said it to me."
"You wouldn't last a minute in the ring with Liam!"
"But I'd do fine even with both of you in the ring. I never said you two get off scot free. Don't you two forget that they got me into this mess! I'm not happy with them at all for this. I already made my point clear, what makes them think this will change my mind?"
"Maybe you'll see something that changes your mind?"
"See what though? I live in the same flat as him, big sis and Dani!"
"Have you let him spoon you?"
"Look like cutlery?" I ask.
"That's another way of saying it," Dani acknowledged it as though it was a new idea to her.
"Yeah."
"Well there you go. You trust him."
"We were squished onto my bed, I was feeling cold for some reason, and I had a headache that played up with every movement. He freaking piggy backed me here from the sofa. Believe when I say I'm not light. I carry people, I don't get carried."
"Give a demonstration then."
"No problem, El." I grabbed her around the waist, hoisted her onto my left shoulder. "And now I can't move because my knee's locked itself up. I'm letting you down." She almost slid off my shoulder. "Not really that hard."
"What the heck are you going to wear, Annie?"
"No idea, Dani. I might fit some of your stuff, but there's no guarantee there. I'm much broader in the shoulders to begin with, that's why El didn't fall off my shoulder and break a few bones."
"I don't think Louis would be very happy with you."
"I've survived, pneumonia, I think I can survive Lou's hissy fits about me dropping his girlfriend on the floor. Or has his fits gotten even worse?" I joke. He hasn't thrown a fit in years, the last time I recall, he was about 7. Long time ago.
"I dunno," Eleanor shrugged elusively.
"Well you're much help!"
"You talk like Louis."
"I grew up with him, what do you expect?"
"That maybe you'd be a little more girly?"
"Two words: fat chance. Maybe when Lou's botty shrinks."
"Speaking of Lou's bottom, he got those boys out there to phone me, saying he thought his bum was bigger than mine! What the bloody hell?"
"Never heard about it. But not surprising either."
