"Who do you think is going to win Sunday night?"
"It's Little Mix, Marcus and Amelia?"
"Yeah."
"My bet's on either Little Mix or Marcus."
"One only."
"I'll take Little Mix, then."
"I was thinking Marcus. He's like Harry."
"Except he does the winking even more."
"And less bad jokes."
"So you're performing tomorrow night again."
"Yeah, with JLS, then there's also Leona Lewis and Michael Bublé's coming as well!"
"You're happy?"
"Really happy."
"You wouldn't rather meet Justin Bieber?"
"That's a really tough question, you know that, don't you?"
"Just wanted to know, that's all."
"I might actually say Michael instead. Similar story involving the radio."
"Someone thought you were the radio?"
"Yeah."
"Hm. That's interesting."
"You have to hear what Michael sounds like. He's just unbelievable."
"You've played it, remember? I said I thought he sounded like an older version of Liam. If there's one thing I know for sure it's that he's been working on his voice for years."
"Well he released his debut album in the February of 03."
"Any tracks I might know?"
"He did covers of older songs like, there was a Freddie Mercury one, Crazy Little Thing Called Love."
"I don't know who it's by, but I might have played something like that in Jazz Band. We play a lot of stuff there."
"Like, everything?"
"ZZ Top, too, that American band. Um… Smart Dressed Man? But one of the tenor players was really tired and heard salad instead."
"Someone's hungry."
"No, just really tired. And then our principal, he's an electric guitar freak, he got the solo. Before that, he was a regular at the Christmas Concert and stuff. Good singer, really good on guitar. Our Concert Band's also played The Simpson's, Star Wars, Spiderman and other stuff no one's ever heard of. So the salad became a joke and at one of the concerts when we played it, we actually mentioned it."
"Your Jazz Band is a peculiar bunch."
"Shut up. You can't be much better."
"They don't misinterpret smart for salad at the very least."
"Potato peeling competition. That's insanity, man. About as insane as hearing me sing out loud in the car."
"Really?"
"Haven't you noticed that I'm even quieter than Louis when you're singing? That's because I don't sing."
"But you aren't bad."
"I'm not brilliant either. Not nearly good enough to try XFactor. And anyway, what songs do I know? Not many. And I'm not very familiar with the current ones. I guess there's the odd The Fray song."
"I guess I'll just hang around here and watch you guys perform, might as well learn a few songs while I'm at it. Could be useful."
"Yeah, alright then."
