"You guys did good."
"It was pretty ordinary. They got us to dance, though."
"And I got asked to do my 'brilliant impersonation of Harry'."
"I never thought of you as capable to do that."
"It's pretty easy. We've got a similar voice anyway."
"As I've noticed when you sing."
"You seem better now."
"Much better. Lou says it might be hand foot and mouth. Contagious stuff."
"It's not serious though, is it?"
"I probably shouldn't be hanging around you guys that much, though you'll only get a rash or blisters on your hands and feet, and maybe your mouth. Good thing it's not chicken pox or something. That would be bad. Real bad."
"Lemme see… ahh, you've got a rash. Does it hurt?"
"If you prod it like that, of course it does."
"Well, don't poke it, don't break the skin, because I heard the liquid carries bacteria." Only Liam would care so much about health and wellbeing.
"Probably does with anything like this. But I don't even know how it got into my system in the first place."
"Don't need to know. All we need to know is how to get rid of it, really." I shrug. Liam's quite right about it in fact.
"So? You said you wanted to talk."
"Well it's just us two. You don't have to say anything under the pressure of other people being around."
"What is this about?"
"You and me. We haven't been talking, and you've been avoiding my eye contact. What's wrong? Did I do something to make you unhappy?" Yeah, at the pub the other night. But I can't tell you this. I could never do that.
"Nothing. It's fine."
"No it's not and I know it."
"I told you, it's fine."
"Liam told me you didn't seem happy at the pub."
"I wasn't happy. But I'm fine."
"Was it me and the girl?"
"Who was she anyway?"
"Aha!" Niall exclaims triumphantly. "I knew it was that!"
"I only asked who she was. I've nothing against her and no reason to dislike her, I don't even know her."
"Just some random girl who tried to hit on me. I wasn't entirely interested in her."
"Aw, come on. I saw a lot of it. You seemed pretty happy."
"Pfft. I was drunk, we both know that. My heart's not going anywhere."
"Release the Harry Styles."
"You can try that, but I'm not going to be able to have time for a girl who's somewhere else. I'd rather sleep then."
"Lazy bum."
"Yeah. It's not like I'm based in one city most of the year even, it's somewhat hard to work around. I don't have the same fortune as Louis and Liam to have had help from Harry."
"Hence release the Harry Styles."
"But I need to be able to keep his work going to make it worth his while."
"You look at Louis, you look at Liam. You don't wish you could do the same?"
"With a girl I actually have an interest in. And finding me any other girl wouldn't work, if I don't want it to." He has a point there.
