I pulled Louis over to the end of the tour bus. I needed to know what was going on with their schedule. "Lewis." I never called him that unless I was down for serious talk. "Do you have any clue what you guys are down for?"

"Song-writing, XFactor tour, recording, promo, album release and a trip to the US. Why do you want to know?"

"Ah, nothing, I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be trouble for your schedule. I don't know much about the business, but I know it's not like you guys are going to be free all the time. And maybe if it was really hectic I might even just rent a flat and get a job."

"I dunno, maybe you'd even be able to help, maybe open up Zayn because he's quiet. He likes drawing, that boy. I dunno, crack some of your jokes. They always get a laugh out of people."

"Yes, but we both know what I draw and we both also know that it's highly unlikely for me to ever find another person who draws the same style as me. We wouldn't be able to discuss drawing techniques. Taking photos, I find, gets me more stuff to talk about but no one ever does that for a hobby, everyone knows that."

"You got everything you need? How much money do you have on ya?"

"My life's savings plus a grand-and-half on top of that. Total can't be much more than 2.5 grand, I think." Louis thought for a bit, then decided to change the topic. "Try not to fall for any of them, okay?"

"I don't think I even know how to, to begin with."

"Who knows? No one can tell what's gonna happen in life."

"True... I'll give you this much: Niall and Liam I like, the other two I haven't seen much of."

"Harry, the curly-headed one, I met in the tiolet. And Zayn ran away in the dancing task at bootcamp. I'd never talked to him before the band. I like Harry."

"I can tell when I'm being replaced by a curly flirting moron, you know," I muttered almost angrily. He was irritating me with his hair AND stealing my more accessible permanent friend. I lean over and gave Louis a hug. Not the hyperactive Annabelle one, the bad mood Annabelle one. "You seen Hannah at all?"

"Crap!" Well there was my answer. "Only once."

"Well, have fun with the boys, but I wouldn't let this one down the drain. You don't find many girls willing to live with a goofball for the rest of their lives." And there's an unspoken rule that Lou and I aren't ever gonna date. That would just be weird. Well and truly.
