ALTHEA'S POV

"Althea, iniiwasan mo ba ako?"

tanong ni Kathleen.

"Look Kathleen, I'm just tired. Marami tayong requirements to complete and college is fast approaching. Gusto ko ng tapusin yung mga designs ko para wala na akong iisipin sa club"

"Althea, you're special to me. I love the way you make me feel important"

she cupped my cheeks and I was surprised, she kissed me. I hold her shoulder and broke the kiss. I shook my head and wiped both sides of my lips

"Kathleen, I'm sorry, but I love Jade"

I saw her looking from afar, tears build up on her eyes

"Jade's one lucky girl"

she muttered. I smiled and nod at her.

"I gotta go, Jade's waiting for me"

as Ahya Gab escorted me on the garage, Dhiya Paul followed us.

"Althea, stop seeing my sister"

"Ahya, don't you think this is rude?"

"What's rude Paul? Shobe hasn't stopped crying"

"Ahya, what's going on? I don't understand?"

sagot ko ke Ahya Gab, I was clueless.

"Althea please, just go home, ako na bahala kay Ahya"

"No Althea, Jade doesn't want to see you. You cheated on her"

"Cheated? What are you talking about Ahya?"

"Jade and Bianca saw you and Kathleen kissing this afternoon"

Jade refused to talk to me, ignored my calls, shut me out of her life. I tried to seek help from Bianca but Jade was tough. I heard from Batchi that she pursued U Penn. I was devastated then. Ninong Oscar and Pápa found out my relationship with Jade and everything that happened. This was my coming out. I went to UST to pursue HRM. Freshman palang ako, girls were all over me. I never take them seriously, siguro kasi I don't want to believe in love na. There was one time, may pinopormahang girl si Ahya and he saw me kissing that girl. It's not my fault, she came over me. Galit na galit sya and pinned me on the wall

"You're gonna punch me? Go ahead, if that will make you feel good sa ginawa ko kay Jade. Tutal alam kong matagal mo ng gustong gawin yan"

Pina office kami ni Ahya dahil sa incident na yun. Pasalamat nalang ako at galing kami sa prominent families, napakiusapan na hindi kami ma kick out ni Ahya. Sa akin, okay lang, wala ng mawawala sakin, si Ahya meron, cum laude pa naman sya at graduating pa. We became the worst enemies since then. At dito din nagsimula ang pagiging mainitin ang ulo ng Pápa dahil lagi akong nasasangkot sa gulo ng mga babae ko. Thanks to Ninong Oscar, he's there to back me up, even what happened between me and Jade.

Kathleen was there for me when Jade left. She loved me without expecting anything in return. We became friends with benefits-- she made my lonely nights better, but never filled the emptiness i have for Jade. And there happened Wila and Tommy where I got to deliver Miggy sa States while continuing my studies.
This is how I lived my seven fucking years. Years I've wasted by getting drunk and hooking up to ease the pain.

And now, she's back... after seven years.
