After dinner, I walk towards the balcony and called Jade. I had 3 missed calls and a message from her asking how was I doing

Jade: hey, how are you?
Me: we had dinner na. I had couple of drinks lang
J: baka naman you're getting drunk ha
M: no I'm not. I'll drive home pa, and Miggy's with me. I can't show him na I drink then drive.

I look towards the room where Uncle Laurence and Miggy play chess while Kathleen carefully watch their moves

Me: you had dinner na?
Jade: hindi pa. We're waiting for Dhiya. He fetch Gerald from the airport tapos didiretso na sila dito
M: how's Ninong Oscar and Ninang Amanda?
J: happy sobra. Minsan lang kami makumpleto. Andami ngang pinaluto ni Mama, lalo na at darating si Gerald, nagluto sya ng Glazed Chicken with Cashew
M: oo, Glazed Chicken! Namiss ko ang luto ni Ninang
J: favorite mo rin yun diba? Sige, ipag uuwi kita
M: wow, ang sweet naman
J: maliit na bagay. Andito na pala si Dhiya

I turn around to face the Makati skyline as I chuckled

"I miss you already. So, I'll see you tomorrow with the Glazed Chicken? Bye"

I ended our conversation and smiled. Suddenly, I felt a back hug: it's Kathleen. I faced her to break the hug

"Hey"

"Hanggang dito ba naman hinahabol kapa ng trabaho mo?"

"Not really. Uhm, last minute recap ng mga activities ko yun tomorrow"

"Can I pick you up tomorrow after office?"

"I don't usually go out by 5. Pineprepare namin ni Batchi yung schedule for the next day"

"How about the day after tomorrow?"

"Kathleen, my schedule is packed this week. Got lots of meetings and tons of paperwork, it's crazy"

"So, I'll just call you?"

"Mommy look. Uncle Laurence just gave me this"
