Behind Closed Doors [On Hold]

Prologue

Dad left a month before I was born. Mom says its because he wasn't man enough to have a kid. She wasn't ready to have a kid either. She was 20 when she had me. I think dad just didn't like my mom because she likes to sleep around. That's just my opinion.

I grew up without a dad which is okay I guess if my mom didn't go from boyfriend to boyfriend.
One time, when I was nine she brought a guy over. I sat up in bed listening to them make all kinds of noise. I'm sure the entire street heard them, nevertheless, they kept on going.

Just as I was about to fall asleep the guy came and opened my door asking where the bathroom was. I told him but he still stood in the door. I started getting scared because he wouldn't leave. I remember just staring at him as if it would make him leave.

After a moment of this he shut the door, but he wasn't gone. He was standing right there blocking the door. I remember thinking in that moment of what he was going to do. I was right.

My mom was completely oblivious to what happened that night. She started having him around more often and i got more visits from him. It wasn't until she finally told me that they were getting married that I knew, my life was going to be complete hell from then on.

I hated my mom from the moment she brought the guy home and I hated her even more when she told of the marriage.
