Chaos?

«In this P.O.V. I'm bringing back Nathan for a bit. Just to explain his actions and to explain why he did what he did. If he even did anything 😏

Nathan's P.O.V.
"School. Who cares about it? Am I going to be hungover tomorrow? Yeah but who cares. People get drunk all the time before going to school so WHO THE FÜCK CARES?"

*Heh. That's just sad Nathan. Is this because of that Sophie character you thought you liked? The one you thought actually liked you back. You could do so much better than her Nathan. You know about her "condition" right. You've read the messages she receives. She isn't worth the trouble so just forget about her.

I let the ugly thoughts run through my mind as I sit in my car with a case of beer beside me. I look around outside at the almost empty parking lot of the Wal-Mart I'm currently at.

"Ugh. Where the heck is Sophie? -I frown to myself- I need my Sophie."

I start up my car almost immediately as a thought pops into my head.

What if I go see her. I mean I know where she lives. I can just go see her.

I take a quick drink of the beer in my hand and almost cringe.

"Still have to get used to that bitter taste."

———-———————————

I'm feeling way more than just buzz going on... Woah. Who knew getting drunk would make you feel more... More... What's the word?

"Happy!"

There's a smile on my face and I feel as if I haven't got a care in the world.

Definitely different from when I first started.

But I know better. Only I know how much thinking of Sophie makes my heart hurt. How thinking of her makes me want to scream at how helpless I feel. I feel like I've known her for our entire lives but I know better. Oh boy do I know better.

———————————-———

My heart is hammering inside my chest as I peer inside Sophie's room. Creepy. I know.

There's no lights on inside but I can faintly make out the outline of everything in the room and seeing that her dresser is in front of her door scares me. She's obviously not here judging by the slightly open window.

I'm wracking my brain for answers when I suddenly get an idea.

The park. She said she likes to go there sometimes didn't she?

Not having time to search my memories I rush to my car a couple houses down.

The moment my car door opens I'm engulfed by the smell of beer.

"Okay. Wow." I say after making a face and getting in.

———————————————

My palms are sweaty and my heart is hammering inside my chest. In an attempt to calm my nerves I take a swig of the beer in my hand and call out Sophie's name.
