Sophie's P.O.V.
When I woke up I felt like shit.

I looked around the room which was difficult since my head was still pounding from... From what again?

Am I dead? ...

No I couldn't be...

As I tried to recall the events of these past few hours... Wait... How long was I out?

There was a faint beeping in the background as I zoned out.

My mind was everywhere. I couldn't focus. Not even when I heard someone walk in. Not even when they tried talking to me.

After everything was quiet again I slept. Or maybe I blacked out. Either way, my eyes were closed.

Nathan's P.O.V.
She's gone again. I let her slip away.

She wasn't answering my texts or my calls.

I missed her so much my heart was actually aching.

Is this what it feels like? Heartbreak? No. I couldn't be heartbroken... It's just Sophie. She's just a girl...

Truth is, the more I tried to convince myself not to care about the beautiful person that was Sophie, the more my thoughts filled with her.

The way she smiled. Her laugh. Her scent. Oh her beautiful scent. The way her eyes sparkled when she did smile. The way she could stop my heart with just one look. Her velvety smooth skin that felt so good against mine. Everything about her could stop a man in their tracks if they bothered to really look at her.

She was a simple beauty. She is a simple beauty. Even if she doesn't see it.

Oh Sophie... If you were mine... I'd spend every second telling you, no reminding you of how beautiful you are. If you were mine I'd treat you right. Okay. Now I'm just starting to sound cheesy.

I didn't know what to do with myself. I was pacing my room. I couldn't sit down, every time I tried I'd just get right back up again.

"Sweetie? Hey." I look up as my mother enters my room.

"Yeah?"

"Are you okay? You seem on edge today."

"I'm fine. I just... I just need... Sophie.."

My voice cracked at the end of that sentence and I guess my mother heard because next thing I know she's by my side hugging me tight.
